Supplies:
Gold & black tulle chain trim
Black Silk Ribbon
Jewelry Clasps
Felt
Sewing Kit
Vintage Buttons
Hot Glue Gun/Glue Sticks
Scissors/Multi tool
First you want to cut your trim to your desired length.
Use your multi tool to either cut the chain link.
Youre going to need to sew the ends, so they stay together.
Use jump rings to attach any clasps of your choosing.
I am using the toggle clasp.
You now have the main part of your bracelet made.
Next cut yourself a felt circle to the size of your liking.
You will want to create a small slit in the center,
this is where you will add your button center.
Start gluing your satin ribbon around and around...
We are going to make a pretty flower.
Keep going until you've reached the center.
Add a little hot glue around the slit in the center
and stick your button over the glue and through the slit.
Hold firmly to keep secure.
Then sew to your bracelet!
I also like to add just a touch of hot glue after I am done sewing,
to add a little more security!
And there you have it!
Youre gorgeous new Vintage inspired bracelet!
I also made one with a bow accent instead of the "flower" accent.
I love them both, cant really decide which is my favorite!
Of course, I had to have a little photo shoot with myself wearing my new bracelets! :)
Its perfect with the new black and gold sequin top I recently bought!
What do YOU think???
I LOVE it..
and I get several compliments every time I wear it!
