Ah, now I know why I am so very drawn to you and your blog. I would say most of those things about myself, actually I think all of them except for the dancing. I have been working on the burning bridges and choosing words more wisely since November, about the same time I started blogging. With the help of my husband and mom I have grown in this area a lot. The best advice the hubs gave me was that no one really cares what I have to say because we are all selfish and just care about our own thoughts. It sounds really harsh, but I think that he may be right. So, I have been leaving my opinion out (and believe me I have PLENTY of them), and just letting people go along on their own way.

I could have written almost all of this myself. I have been working on recognizing my own strengths and abilities rather than always comparing myself to others and feeling inadequate by comparison. I'm a work in progress, but striving to embrace myself every day for who and what I am now and not what I wish I could be. Thanks for re-sharing this post. :)
