Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny Ribbon Sculpture Tutorial!

Good Morning all!
Remember these adorable little bunnies, that I gave away a few weeks ago?
Were you bummed that you didnt win?
Well then you're in luck, because I am going to share the tutorial with you!
So that you can make your own! But if you dont feel so craftily inclined
you can also buy a pair from my shop!

Alrighty.. so here is what you will need:

-thin white or cream colored grosgrain ribbon
-thin pink ribbon
-thin blue ribbon
-brown ribbon
-googly eyes
-glue gun/ glue sticks
-heat source

I made 4 bunnies during this tutorial.
Which is why the pictures show doubled what you
will need to just make the two Mr. & Mrs. Bunny.

SO what YOU will need are:
2 strips of the thin cream ribbon 2 1/2 inchs long.
And you will need 4 strips of ribbon in the same color 2 1/4 in long.

Glue each strip into a round as shown:

Take a smaller round and glue it just slightly inside the bigger round,
on one side. And then do the same for the other side.

This is what it will look like. Two small rounds on each side of
the bigger round. This will be the bunny head.

Repeat the previous steps until you have all your bunny heads finished!

Now we will make the ears.
(this time I tried to take pictures for just two bunnies)
You will need to cut  four 3 1/2 inch strips of the cream colored
ribbon, then two strips of pink and 2 strips of blue in the same size.

Take the cream ribbon and fold and glue as shown in the photo below.
Do this same thing to all strips of ribbon!

This is what you will have:

Add a little glue to the bottom part of the cream ear,
then slip the colored ribbon ontop of the cream ribbon to connect.

Do for each of the ears, I set them up with the bunny heads to get an
idea of how they will look! Then glue the ears to the back of the
bunny head.

Add googly eyes.

Now use the brown ribbon to make the nose!
cut it in a triangle shape, use any heat source to treat the
ribbon to prevent fraying. Then glue to bunny face.

The last thing I did was made little bows out of the pink and blue
ribbon. Glued the blue bow under Mr. Bunny's head for a cute little
bow tie, and glued Mrs. Bunny's bow to one of her ears
for an adorable little "hare" bow. ;)
Hahahaha GET IT... HARE.. instead of hair.
Oh I crack myself up...
Anyways... NOW your adorable little
bunny couple is complete! :)

Precious right!? :) They are my new favorites!
Mrs. Bunny!

Mr. Bunny!

I do recommend lining your hair clip before adding the bunnies,
it looks a lot better.

My first attempt I just glued them to a plain alligator clip, and
just felt they didnt look complete. After I lined an alligator clip
I added the second couple, and it looked a lot better!

And they just look wonderful in Kiah's hair! :)

I totally HE♥RT them!! :)

What about you?
Let me know what you think! Hopefully this tutorial was helpful!
If you happen to make any of your own, I would LOVE to see
how they turn out! Please send me photos of your creations!
