Hooray its Wednesday! Which means I have another Blog-erview for you!
Today I have the amazingly creative, and gorgeous gal, Jen of Craft-O-Maniac!!
She is so sweet and down to earth and a big inspiration to me with all the fun and cute projects she posts every day... (all while taking care of her 4 little cuties-wow!)
I've really enjoyed getting to know her more through this interview and it is such an honor to have here here!

Tell us a little about yourself and Your blog (and shop if you have one).
My name is Jennie Larsen and for those of you who don't know- I am a twin "fraternal twin." My mom and dad named us Jennie and Justin. I have been married to my sweets Kevin for 12 years, and together we have 4 darling fun kids. My blog is all about easy to do fun crafts, DIY projects, Home Decor and an occasional recipe here or there. I love diet coke, great laughter, thrifting, crafting, decorating, chocolate preferably with caramel, baby thighs, and I love crafting with a diet coke.
How did you first get involved with blogging?
I started with my family blog, over time I shared crafts and fun things I made. I would get a lot of comments on my crafts and home decor. So one day I decided to open up a Craft "only" blog.
Has blogging played a role in the start of or development of your shop? If so, how? If not, tell us how your shop came about.
Yes' My blog did help me with my shop, because with a growing blog and creative mind I sought the opportunity to share my headbands/ and clips on my blog.
How do you come up with material/content for your blog each day, What inspires you?
I would say that life in general, my surroundings, my children, other creative bloggers, and my good Ol' brain God has blessed me with, all play a roll in my creative ideas, crafts, and creations.
What has been the most challenging moment in being a blogger?
Feeling inadequate. While there is much "MUCH" support in the bloggy/crafty world, it also comes with not feeling good enough at times. I feel this way from time to time, but soon realize I am me, and CraftOManiac is great just the way it is, and I don't need to be anyone or have a blog like anyone else, because I do just great on my own. ;)
6. Everyone has a favorite/least favorite post. Name yours and why?
My favorite post has to be my Craft Room Nook. I still can't believe I did it on such a small budget. I love all the colors, patterns, and organization. Its a great place for me to create, and be inspired.
Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I totally look up to Jen from TT&J. She was one of the very first Crafty/ DIY blogs I started following long before COM was ever created. She is so kind and sweet to everyone, and she makes everyone feel special. I don't feel like she singles out anyone. It seems like everyone is a star where she is concerned.
If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?
I would certainly say "DO it because YOU LOVE IT!" any money or opportunities that have come my way have been amazing. However, I enjoyed blogging and loved doing it long before great fun, money and opportunities came. If those opportunities went away, it wouldn't affect me in anyway, because I TRULY LOVE creating and sharing it on my blog.
What Social Networks are you on?
Pinterest, Twitter, FB, Etsy. These are my main ones.
What networking do you do, that you feel helps your blog and/or shop the most?
Without a doubt my blog first and foremost, then I would say FB for sure.
What has been the best thing about blogging so far, feel free to share any exciting triumphs or milestones you have had or reached! :)
My milestone would for sure be hitting over 3000 followers on my blog. The best thing about blogging has been the friendships. The support from other bloggy moms just like me, mothers who have these wonderful creative outlets and can share their gift with so many of us. I love that we are all able to connect and support one another. and it is so much fun.
Is there anything else you would like to share with my readers?
I would just like to say that like mentioned above, feeling inadequate is much the same as feeling intimidated. DON'T! remember you are YOU, and that we all have the ability to be great in our own way. Let "YOU SHINE- and BE YOU!"
