~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can you tell us a little about yourself and Your blog/shop?
Hello! I'm Nichelle from Vintage Wanna Bee. I'm a Disney-Loving, crafty, silly college student. I love this little old blogging world and all the friends you make! I blog about crafts, life and other randomness. I started my shop not quite a year ago, and it's so fun to have a creative outlet that I can share with all of YOU!
How did you first get involved with blogging?
I first starting blogging after I was in a crazy accident that changed my life forever. It was the perfect way for me to express myself when my body was limited. Once recovery had come somewhat along, I moved my blog to become what is now, Vintage Wanna Bee, where, instead of focusing on recovery, I can focus on living life to the fullest!
Has blogging played a role in the start of or development of your shop? If so, how?
If not, how tell us how your shop came about.
If not, how tell us how your shop came about.
OH YES!!! I NEVER EVER EVER thought I would be a "shop owner". That wasn't my plan, but I enjoyed it so much, and I got requests to open a shop, so I figured I'd take that leap. It's been a great experience so far!
How do you come up with material/content for your blog each day, What inspires you?
I try to share just the simple things in my life. When I'm feeling crafty, I share tutorials. When I'm feeling hungry, I share recipes. When I'm having a good day, or a bad day, or when I've experienced something worth sharing, I blog. LIFE inspires me.
What has been the most challenging moment in being a blogger?
What has been the most challenging moment in being a blogger?
Well, my blog kinda exploded over night. I have NO IDEA how I got "big" so fast. It's been overwhelming and very challenging. I love it, but sometimes, I just want to start over. I feel this strange obligation to my followers, I don't want to bore or disappoint them. I wasn't planning on any of this, so adjusting and staying motivated to put so much work into this is something I struggle with. It helps to have so much inspiration and support from all the bloggy BFF's I've meet.
Everyone has a favorite/least favorite post. Name yours and why?
Everyone has a favorite/least favorite post. Name yours and why?
Oh wow. I don't think I have a favorite, or a least favorite. Sometimes, the posts that I'm super lazy about and just say random, crazy, silly things my readers love! I'm just me, and my blog reflects that.
Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
LITTLE MISS MOMMA. Hands down. I reached out to her to share my story when she started, Sisterhood of Secrets. She became an instant friend, motivator and mentor. I look up to her so much.
If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?
If someone was interested in blogging, what would be a few things you would suggest?
Well, I think I'm a weird blogger because my advice would be to do it for YOU. I feel so many people are searching for fame and fortune. I personally think that's just crazy. Blogging is a very personal thing, you are sharing YOU, I would be careful to what really motivates you. I LOVE blogging, and what I've learned and gain from it.
Only blog if you enjoy it.
What Social Networks are you on?
What networking do you do, that you feel helps your blog and/or shop the most?
Facebook, facebook and facebook. Also, make bloggy friends that let you guest post. *wink wink*
What has been the best thing about blogging so far, feel free to share any exciting triumphs or milestones you have had or reached!
EVERYTHING. Life has it's ups and downs, and so does blogging, but every good and bad thing that has happened because of blogging, has helped me to grow as a person.
Is there anything else you would like to share with my readers?
Remember how awesome you are. I obviously don't know all of you, but without all of you, blogging would be lame. Blogging is a great way to make friends, share who you are, and express yourself.
I would LOVE for you to come by and see if we can be BLOGGY BFF's!!!
So glad to find your blog. Love the name of your blog :) and so fun it is! Blessings to you! Will come again soon!
