I'm so excited to share this tutorial for this totally ADORBS, necklace I made this weekend!!
Supplies not show:
Hot Glue Gun/Glue Sticks
Flat Nose Pliers
Chain/Wire Cutters
For this necklace I didnt measure anything out.
I just did everything by eye, until it was sized to my liking.
Step 1: Cut your fabric in a rectangle shape.
Step 2: Fold and glue edges to create a clean edge.
Step 3: To this to the other side.
Step 4: Glue on your various size/lengths of chain to the bottom of your rectangle.
You will glue it right about where you will fold it to make a bow.
Step 5: Fold outside edged to the center, and use two dabs of glue to secure.
Step 6: Cut and roll another smaller piece of fabric to make a clean strip.
Step 7: Wrap fabric strip around the front of your rectangle fabric.
Step 8: Glue to secure in the back then cut the excess off.
I used more of the medium size chain to finish the necklace.
I cut it 18in long and glued it to the inside top corners of each side of the bow.
Cut the chain again and add jump rings/Lobster clasp.
And thats it!
A fun bow tie and chain necklace to totally rock!
I wore it on my date night with The Hubs. And I made a little bow to match in my hair.
Im loving it paired with my teal shirt. ♥
