You all know how much I adore Krista, of Saturated Canary.
I've raved countless times about her BEAUTIFUL artwork!
But did you know she also has a challenge blog??
Now I have followed that blog for a while, but never participated in any of the challenges before.
But decided it was time to jump in!
So here is my first ever entry for {Challenge #16} which the theme is Happy Birthday.
I'm not a pro at coloring like Krista is, mine style is a little more childish, but I still LOVE to do it.
I've bought several of her digi's and just practice my coloring skills here and there, when I can.
My tools of choice are fine tip markers, and crayola coloring crayons.
I do the whole, outline in marker and fill in with crayon.
I've colored in this style ever since I can remember.
I used two of my favorite colors, Pink & Green, for the main the theme of the card.
I know its not the best card, but I still like how it turned out for my first attempt.
I decided to add some glitter for texture, which I like... but dont love.
Once I started, though, I just had to commit to it. :)
Its still sweet though and I am sure any birthday girl would love to get a special one of a kind card like this.
When, my daughter, Kiah walked by and saw it, she was in awe. ♥

What do you think??
Much Love & Hugs,
Too cute. I actually just found out my mom buys digi-stamps from her. She got this one because it reminded her of me and I asked where she got it. Imagine my surprise when she said Saturated Canary.
