This weekend my Church held a Mother's Day Tea & Brunch.
Ladies from the church could sign up to host and decorate a table.
I of course signed up, because who doesn't love a tea party? :)
Here was my table.
Aside from my friend Lindsey, I was the youngest lady to sign up to host a table.
And I dont have a fancy or formal tea set with matching plates and such.
So I had to use my crafty side to wing it.
I bought plain mugs from the dollar tree and hand painted each of them to match.
Plus they were also gifts for each lady at my table to take home!
I found those free mother's day tag printables {here}.
Inside each mug I wrapped napkins to look like little flowers blooming.
And each lady also got a custom key chain that I made for them, also as a gift/favor.
I will have the tutorial for you next week! :)
One of the lovely ladies from my church asked if I would like some peony's from her garden,
for my centerpiece. I hadnt for sure decided on what flowers I wanted for my centerpiece yet, so I took her up on her offer, and I am SO glad I did! Tulips have always been my favorite flowers.
But I have never seen peony's in real life before and oh my they are GORGEOUS!!
They went perfectly with my pink and green themed table. ♥
I must admit that I totally took advantage of it being Mother's Day (week end), and the fact that the food for the brunch looked so amazing, so I didn't deprive myself of any kind of food!
I told myself, it was Mother's Day and I deserve it. hehe
Of course, I didn't totally pig out, but I ate foods that I have been depriving myself of for the past few months, for my weight loss. And it SOO good. :) I even had a small piece of cake! haha
Just for fun, here is a look at some of the other LOVELY tables.
Each one was different and beautiful in its own way.
I really enjoyed seeing each table, and how it was set up and decorated.
What did you all do for Mother's Day?
I hope it was a wonderful day for everyone!
Much Love & Hugs,
I like your table the best! Very creative.

Thank you so much! ♥
DeleteOh, The tables are absolutely gorgeous . I especially love yours, pink is my favorite color. My Mother's Day was really nice. My husband and son took me and a friend to lunch. Her hubby is out of town and he didn't want her to be left out. I am so blessed <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I love pink too! So glad to hear you had a good Mothers Day! How sweet of your hubby to think of your friend. ♥ What a sweet heart, sounds like you got a keeper! ;)
