Welcome to Perspectives Photo Challenge co-hosted by myself,
Lena of Lena B Photography & Natalie of When Shutters Click!
Perspectives is a weekly photo challenge and link up.
Basically we (the hosts) have 1 theme to share each week.
We want YOU to take and share 3 photos of said theme in YOUR perspective!
Show us how YOU see things.
We will do the same, and then link up to the party.
This weeks theme is Around Town.
I had SO much fun with this one!

So much so that couldnt help but share MORE than 3 with you all.
You can find the rest of the photos of my town in {this post}.
But Ive saved my FAVORITE photos from Around my town for this weeks challenge.
First up:
This is a lovely old building, which I have always admired.
But Ive saved my FAVORITE photos from Around my town for this weeks challenge.
First up:
This is a lovely old building, which I have always admired.
That man with the top hat on the side of the building always catches my eye.
Plus I just love walking around INSIDE this building and checking out all the lovely antiques it holds.
Second:
This is the old State Theater. I remember going here to see a movie when I was really young.
But they dont show movies here anymore. Its more for live shows.
But its a gorgeous historic building, with so much history.
I truly find it fascinating, the old ticket booth out front, the decor on the inside,
the "coming attraction" window displays. Its all wonderful to me.
Third:
The beautiful clock tower is one of my favorite things about my little town.
"The Cone & Kimball Building, with its 100-foot ornate Victorian clock tower, was originally built in 1886 and became “one of the most photographed buildings of the region.” It was often referred to as the “heart of Red Bluff” and was a regional icon." -Via
The clock tower used to be a part of a gorgeous building, but it burned down 1984. It was then rebuilt (I believe) in 2001 as part of cone & kimball plaza. Please check out THIS photo of what the clock tower building used to look like before it burned, and was rebuilt.

Love the first shot. The man with the top hat is the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I loved this challenge and had a difficult time picking only 3 pictures and plan on doing a post with some of the others I took, plus I still want to go out and take more. I love your clock tower picture.
