Share Your Style - Hair Accessory Swap!

 Hello friends!
We (Maria & Nichelle) are so excited to share with you a new swap series we are calling
Share Your Style! Share your style is all about making new bloggy BFF's, getting to know each other better through sharing our own personal style and swapping pretties with one another!

We are hoping to do more Share Your Style Swaps through out the year, with different items to swap, like bracelets, necklaces, maybe even makeup and many other things style related!
But this time around we are doing a Hair Accessory Swap!

How Do I sign up?

 To sign up all you need to do is fill out the google document form by visiting the "Rules and Regulations" section at the bottom of this blog post, we will then set you up with a partner to get to know and swap with!  (before signing up PLEASE read entire blog post AND our "rules and regulations" section. Spots are limited. Thanks ladies!)

What type of hair accessories can I swap?
When you fill out the google doc form you will be asked what kind of colors and hair accessories you prefer. So that your partner will get to know YOUR style preferences and can give you something you will like, but with an added twist of THEIR style mixed in. :)

We are encouraging everyone to hand make the accessories you swap. We have rounded up several great tutorials and ideas for you to check out, below! BUT if you dont feel confident in your crafty skills enough to make something, we are ok with you buying something awesome too... Keep in mind their style preferences and be sure to add in YOUR style too so that we can all try something fun and new!

What happens after we swap?
Once everyone has swapped it will be time to SHOW OFF your goodies!! We will be hosting a Link Up for everyone who swapped. We are asking that all bloggers who participate in this swap write up a blog post about it! You can make it an outfit post or just make it about the style swap. Either way please have the post up and running by November 12th so you can link up with Maria & Nichelle on our blogs, and show off the new pretties you got!

Rules & Regulations

• This is only opened to US Residents

• This is open to bloggers only (size of blog doesnt matter, we just want you to be able to blog about it!)
• First come first serve basis, we will only open the sign up process to the first  30 people

• Sign ups will close after a week, unless spots are filled before the week is up.

• Once Sign ups are closed, we will then start to team up partners! You will get an email with your partner's information in it with in 2-5 business days. Please only contact us if AFTER the 5 business day mark if you did not get a partner (by October 15th). You may not have gotten a parter if you were too late to register or our email might have went to spam. Please follow Maria and Nichelle's twitter accounts for tweet updates about the swap. We will make an announcement when all the names have been teamed up!

• We really really REALLY hope everyone plays nice, but if they don't please note that unfortunately we (Maria & Nichelle) are not responsible for anyone's actions during this swap. We are also not responsible for any lost or damaged packages.
• Once you have your partner you will be given 2 WEEKS TO MAKE AND MAIL YOUR ACCESSORIES.
• All accessories must be in the hands of your swapper by October 30th so that everyone has time to take pictures and write a blog post for our link up party on November 12th.
• Once you get your package please blog about it! And spread the love, include any links to your partner's social media sites. When you do link up with Maria & Nichelle please link back to our blogs on your blog post and include our button in your post. Any blog posts that are linked to us that do not have anything to do with the swap will be deleted (giveaway posts or a link to your entire blog will also be deleted).

Time Frame

Here is a list of all the dates/times you will need to remember for this party!
• Oct. 1st: Sign Ups opens for our Share Your Style Hair Accessory Swap
• Oct. 8th: Sign Ups officially close (if filled up before the 8th it will close sooner)
• Oct 15th: You will receive partner on or before this date
• Oct 15th - Oct 29th: 2 week time frame to make and mail your accessory(ies) to your partner
• Oct. 30th: Latest day your partner can get your package, so she can have time to photography/blog about it for the link up!
• November 12th: The day your blog post should be published and linked up to either Maria & Nichelle's blog, please link back to our blogs when making your post so people who are unfamiliar with the swap know what it is!
