Geometric Necklace Tutorial

 Hello fabulous friends!
Today I am excited because I have finally had the time to put together another tutorial for you.
This one has been on my mind for a while, now, so its wonderful when you can bring an idea to life!
This is a simple tutorial on how you can create a simple and modern geometric necklace for yourself.

The great thing about this necklace is that there are several different patterns and ways you can
customize it for yourself. I will be sharing below different ways to pattern this necklace.
But not only that, you can create even more looks with the beads you use.
Its all up to you, and your creativity!

So lets get on with the tutorial!
The supplies you need are pictured below.
The necklace clasp is optional.
If you want a shorter necklace, use the clasp.
If you prefer a longer necklace, you can just cut your chain longer
making it a "pull over" necklace and you wont need a clasp.

These are the main steps to this tutorial!
You will be doing this over and over, depending on what geometric pattern you want to achieve.

Simply take (or make) an eye pin and start adding your beads.
Close off your pin with another eye loop (using your round nose pliers).
Step three, as you can see, is just repeat, repeat, repeat!

Once you have a few of your beaded wire pins completed its time to decide on the design you want.
Here are several that I came up with as I was going along....
I decided on the last design, shown above.
Its sort of a funky heart design, that also reminded me of a fox head.

Once you have your design decided, you will start to connect each piece with the jump rings.
ONE jump ring per connection spot.
Some connecting areas will only have two pieces to connect, some will have 3 or 4!
Last thing to do is connect your chain.
This is what it could look like long, as a "pull over" necklace, without the clasp.
And if you prefer a shorter necklace....
Simply cut your chain in the back using the wire cutters.
And ad the necklace clasp using a jump ring, and another jump ring on the other side to clasp it to.

Well I just love this necklace!
It was extremely simple to make, and I love all the different designs I could do with it!

I would LOVE to see what color combos and designs YOU could come up with!
So PLEASE do share if you use my tutorial.
I will feature you on my facebook page! ♥
