A Little Apology

Hello friends.
Well I just wanted to pop in real quick with a little apology.
I lost a few followers/readers Sunday evening.
And normally I wouldn't blog about it....
But I was worried that maybe it had to do with my giveaway post that went live at the time.
I had written "A fun giveaway to end this 'wonderful' weekend"...
Ive changed the wording now.
With all that has happen this weekend, I'd say it wasnt really a WONDERFUL weekend, for many.
Its been a sad, tragic weekend.

SO I just wanted to apologize if I had offended anyone.
I just wanted to make it clear that that post was written and scheduled on Thursday Morning.
The Hubs and I were gone this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for our anniversary weekend trip.
I had no way to stop or change the post, since it was scheduled to go live while I was away.
When I wrote it, I was planning on having a wonderful weekend with the hubs, hence the wording.

Anyways, I had not heard much about what happened till now.
And my heart is just aching... And my eyes overflowing with tears.
Ive taken some time to write about it {here}.
But, again, I just wanted to apologize if I HAD offended anyone...
And was un-followed for that reason.

Not that being un-followed is that important to me,
whats important to me is my readers...
And truly I just felt awful thinking I may have hurt or offended someone...
Seeming like this weekend was anything but tragic for so many people.
Im too emotion to be so "insenstive" like that.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with everyone dealing with the Shady Hook Elementary Shooting.

Much Love & Hugs,

  1. I'll be honest- I personally find it more offensive when people turn someone else's tragedy into their own pity party. Be grateful for your wonderful weekend and appreciate it that much more for the heartache that is in the world<3

    1. Thanks so much for that Brittany. I am definitely grateful, so much, for my wonderful weekend. Just would hate to be thought of as insensitive. Thats so not me. :) Glad I have some very awesome readers and friend who DO understand me. ♥

  2. We must always remember that any day God gives us is a wonderful day because it is a gift. I can see how some may have been offended, but please know that we love your heart and know that you did not mean anything by it. My anniversary and my niece's dance recital was this weekend, and I don't think anyone could blame me for saying I had a "wonderful" weekend. Anytime we can experience God's love (espcially in the midst of such a tragedy) is a blessing and should be shouted from the roof tops! :-)

    *hugs & love*
