Cliche V-Day {Makeup}

When you think of Valentines Day.. Instantly what colors pop into your mind? Admit it, you said Red, Pink, Purple. When I was thinking of a fun V-Day look for our 2nd Makeup Monday Challenge, my mind instantly went to thoughts of the cliche valentines day colors red, pink and purple. So I created a beautifully bright and colorful cliche v-day inspired look to share with you!

Then I thought of another Valentines Day inspired look to share on Monday for the challenge... 

So I decided to share this look with you all today! I'm excited to share this look with you because I got to use my NEW eyeshadows from My Beauty Addiction, that I told you all about on Tuesday...

What Im using:

These colors are simply gorgeous, and I really LOVE the look of them all together!

Surprise, surprise, Maria loves color... I know, I know, I probably don't even have to mention it anymore ♥

Haha What can I say? I guess I just hope to encourage others not to be afraid of color.

It can be fun, and doesn't have to look wild and crazy. Although I am sure to some, this look may seem wild and crazy... But Ive seen other looks that make mine look very tame. ;) You just have to find the colors that really work well with your skin tone and eye color. Play around with colors, and when you find something you like, rock that look confidently!

You might surprise yourself... And be surprised by what others think too! For example, I had a feeling The Hubs would think this makeup was a little too "out there", but when he saw me he was like 'whoa I love your makeup like that hunny, you look so good.' And that totally made my day! Of course, he really does always tell me I'm beautiful, but he also is not afraid to tell me when something I wear doesn't quite suit me! ;) So this was a pleasant surprise. Plus, I also got several compliments on my makeup when I went out and about running errands and such.
