Mother - Daughter Makeup Challenge

Its {Makeup} Monday, Holla!
And today we have a NEW Challenge for you.

This one was actually suggestion by my 10 year old daughter Kiah, when we were talking about the Husband Makeup Challenge. She said "Momma, I want to do your makeup!" So I said, well why not! And we can make that a challenge too.

So Today's challenge is to have a Child do your makeup!
Like your daughter, or niece, or best friends daughter... Or son's... If they would be willing!? :) And just have fun, let them have fun! I know a few people had concerns from the Husband challenge, worrying they may look clown-ish. I say, just embrace that. This challenge is meant to be fun. You MAY end up looking like a clown! And that's OK, you don't have to go out in public. :)
So Kiah actually did pretty good all around. I love that she remembered to use concealer on my eyes to cover my dark circles... That's something The Hubs forgot! :)
She gave me a very clean simple look. She used light colors on my eyes, that she thought were just so pretty. She also decided to try some liquid liner on my eyes. And I must say WOW, I was extremely IMPRESSED with her steady hand... She lined perfectly. :)
She cracks me up.. She wanted me to take photos of her deciding which lipstick to use... Yeah between the THREE that I have! haha I don't wear lipstick that often, so I don't have much. Yeah I'm sort of a lipstick newb. Isn't she funny, though?
Over all I think my sweet Kiah did a great job. What do you think?

The products she used are:
Instant Age Rewind Eraser (Dark Circles) by Maybelline
Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline
MBA Eye Shadows in French Vanilla & Paparazzi
e.l.f. Liquid Eye Liner
Define-A-Lash Mascara by Maybelline
Color Sensational Lipstick by Maybelline in Pink Peony
Now its your turn! I do hope you will participate! And remember to just let the child have fun, explore and discover the fun of makeup/beauty. Let them make your face their own masterpiece! Laugh, take some pictures and then wash it off if you need to! :) As for me... My Kiah-girl did a pretty decent job. She surprised me. And you may be surprised too! I just had to adjust a few things, but I actually kept my makeup on after she did it. ♥
Just FYI, you don't have to participate in the challenge to link up, you can still link up any and all beauty posts. But we would LOVE for you to participate and have fun with it!

  1. That is so awesome! How fun! She did a great job. My daughter (and oldest) is 3... She would probably try to put every color and everything I own on my face... Haha. Someday, when there is nothing going on, I'll have to let her do it (except for my mascara) cause she'd LOVE it! I'd love to see how my husband does too

  3. I would participate in the challenge, but my only kids are fur kids! Muddy paw prints just doesn't seem like a good idea. I'll be linking up with a post a soon as I get home to my computer, though.
