Hola Amigas! Happy Almost St. Patrick's Day. ♣
Now I don't know about you, but Ive always really liked St. Patrick's day. Why? Well, because green is my favorite color! :) So I think its just fun to see so much green all around during this little holiday.
Today I wanted to share a great look to help you 'pinch' proof yourself for the day. Since I often hear people say, I don't have any green to wear, well get creative, and wear it on your eyes... Or hair even. (There is a link at the bottom that will take you to a DIY for the pretty clover in my hair!)
I showed a sneak peek at this look on my instagram a few day ago, and so
many people seem to think they could never pull off this look of
wearing this color. But I beg to differ. I believe green looks great on
every eye color! Especially Brown & Hazel Eyed girls... You ladies
can go for richer, dark, bold greens. "Rules" say if you have a certain
color eyes you shouldn't wear the same color as eye shadow. I say
nonsense! Throw the rules out! Green eyed babes... Just look for a shade
that will contrast with your eyes, nothing too close to the same exact
shade as your eyes as, yes, it will sort of mute them out. Blue eyed
gals, go for a mixture of light and dark colors... These same shades I
am wearing would be great on you. Just check out this photo if you don't believe green looks good on blue eyes, I think it looks awesome.
So lets break down the colors that I am wearing. The products I am using are from My Beauty Addiction which you can purchase either on Etsy or their Website. As with all my MBA looks, I start with MBA Shadow Poxy (Primer). These are the Eye Shadows I used:
Hunter - A dark medium shimmer green. Used on inner and outer eyelids, and blended into my crease.
Golden Tiara - Used on my mid lid.
Jealous - A bright vibrant green! - Used under lower lash line, and blended above crease.
French Vanilla - Used to high light my brow bone and inner corners of my eyes.
And because colors can look different in different light, here is the look using the flash on my camera.

How are you going to be rockin' green for St. Patrick's Day?
Disclosure: I have recently become a My Beauty Addiction promoter. But all thoughts and opinions are my own. I've been using MBA products for a few months before I became a promoter, because I love their products. And love sharing about them! :-)
