Hello and welcome friends! I've got a NEW look to share in the Disney Princess Series. With each look I create, I just get so excited to share. Each look becomes a NEW favorite of mine. And just like with the Disney Princesses themselves, I find that I just cant pick ONE favorite. What about you? Its no different with this look inspired by Pocahontas.
I got MANY requests for Pocahontas, so, my lovely Pocahontas fans, you ask and I deliver! I hope you love this look as much as I do. I too am a big fan of Pocahontas. She is just gorgeous. And though her color scheme is made up of earthy neutrals, there is still a variety there, that I wanted to show case. So I used five, yes FIVE different colors for this look! Four of them earthy neutrals, and then one POP of color, for the color change that her necklace brings.
Pocahontas sings "Paint with all the colors of the wind..." And as I was creating this look, I was thinking "Oh GIRLLL, I did!" ;) tehe
So what colors did I use?
Nougat - A shimmery tan/brown color, used on my inner eyelids.
Satin Bronze - Shimmery smooth bronze color, used on the middle of my eye lids.
Blush Beige - Beige with a warm rose glow, used on my outer eyelids.
Swiss Chocolate - A gorgeous satiny brown, used as a liner over my top lashes.
French Vanilla - Shimmery off white color, used as a high lighter on the inner corners of my eyes and brow bone.
Turquoise - The perfect shimmery blue-green color, used as a liner under my bottom lash line.
All of these shadows were used with Shadow Poxy, and can be found at My Beauty Addiction:
Pocahontas also has very dark neutral lips, so I decided to also add some color to my lips as well to try and match hers. What I'm wearing:
e.l.f Matte Lip Color in "Praline"
e.l.f. Shimmer Lip Gloss in "Hope"
So Pocahontas fans, what do you think!? ;) I love how subtle, yet also dramatic this look is! The neutrals make it easily wearable for anyone! And the turquoise is just enough for those of us who love color, but not too much to scare those of you who are a little shy to it. Right? Thank you Pocahontas, for inspiring a look that anyone can pull off! ♥
In case you are curious, the necklace I am wearing is actually a wrap bracelet c/o Mila Rose Designs. Looks great as a necklace, and compliments this look well... Don't you think?

This is great. Pocahontas is one of my favorites and as I prefer a more natural makeup look, this is great because you could wear just the brown to work/for the day, then add that gorgeous turquoise for a night out!
