Hello My pretties!
Today I have a couple looks and a little review of The Balm's Nude'tude palette. I had been eying this palette for about 6 months but was hesitant to buy because of price. Not that I don't think its worth it, but because I'm more of a drug store diva. Ive got a family and 3 kids. And the idea of spending $36 on makeup for myself is hard. Luckily my amazing bloggy bestie, Andrea, told me about HauteLook, and how they have great deals and every once in a while sell The Balm products! So I was patient to see if they might have a deal for Nude'tude again. And they did! So I got mine at half off. :)
What attracted me to the Nude'Tude palette was the fun vintage style pin-up girls on it. I just thought it looked like such a fun palette. And really everything The Balm sells is a little cheeky and I like that. Its fun and makes them really stand out, in my mind at least. They do also have a palette without the girls on it too, if you'd prefer not to have them on it! ♥
So, was I impressed with this palette? YES. The quality is amazing. The shadows are gorgeous, rich and creamy. They go on well with or without primer. (In my looks I'm sharing, I'm using primer.) And of course the packaging is wonderful, very study but also light weight. Honestly it reminds me of a nice big chocolate bar. HA.
Anyways, I created two very simple, every day looks with this palette to share with you.
First up is a very subtle brown smokey eye...
I created this look using shades Selfish, Silly & Stand-offish.
Lid: Selfish
Lid: Selfish
Outer Lid, Crease & Lower lashes: Silly
Brow bone & Inner eye corners: Stand-offish
This next look while still simple is a little more dramatic. I love this look, and these colors too, really makes my eyes pop.
I created this look using only Stand-offish and Sexy. I think 'sexy' is my favorite shade in this palette. There is something about red/burgundy toned colors that I just LOVE with my eye color. If you have dark green & Brown/Hazel eyes like me.. This kind of color was MADE for your eyes!
Lid & Brow Bone: Stand-offish

Outer corner, Crease & lower lashes: Sexy
Have you tried this palette?
What are YOUR thoughts, and what shades are your favorite?
My over-all thoughts. I love this palette, its quickly become a favorite of mine. Its perfect for everyday, any occasion wear. Very versatile for anyone. Definitely glad I finally purchased!

I love both of those looks! Especially the second one! I got this palette off of hautelook a while back, even though lord knows I don't need anymore nude palettes. I like it okay, but never really have fallen in *LOVE* with it.. you convinced me to give it another chance! The quality of the eyeshadows is amazing. Going to give it another shot now!
