I hope you all have some fun beauty posts ready to share. This linky is growing, and I am SOOO excited about that. Thank you all. ♥ I am also just so excited by the response to my Disney Princess Makeup Series. I love that you all love it, because its been so much fun for me. Today I'm sharing the look inspired by Princess Ariel.
I really enjoyed creating this look, because I had an idea in mind for a while, and knew I wanted to play with my hair as well to try to get more of an Ariel Look. I don't have crazy wide bangs like she does, so I had to improvise, and in the end I think these photos of me sort of have a Vintage Pin-up girl style to them. Which wasn't on purpose, but I kind of like anyways. What do you think?
I decided to keep this look a little more simple. When thinking of a look inspired by Ariel, the colors that come to mind where red, minty green, and purple. The idea of that color combo wasn't really my cup of tea. I decided I didn't want to add the red in there, but keep her look more subtle. Instead I added a SMALL touch of red to my LIPS over some clear lip gloss, which made a nice pink-coral color. Which compliments the colors on my eyes well.
So what eye shadows did I use?
Dewdrops - A shimmery satin minty color, used all across my eyelids up to crease line.
Karma - A gorgeous intense purple, used under lower lashes and as a liner on my lash line.
I used Wet Liner Foiling Serum to turn Karma into a nice eyeliner!

Anemone - This color is way cool! Its a sheer duo color which starts pink with a twist of minty green depending on the lighting. Used as a high lighter on the inner corners of my eyes and brow bone, blending down to the crease.
All of these shadows were used with Shadow Poxy, and can be found at My Beauty Addiction:
I wish these pictures could better show you the awesomeness that is Anemone! It was hard for me to capture on camera, but I tell you it is amazing! Oh and by the way... Are you diggin' the sea shell hair clips? Well you can check out the DIY for them here: DIY Sea Shell Hair Clips.
