Hello Beauties! Thanks for stopping by today. Ive got another pictorial to share with you. ♥ If you're liking these kinds of posts, or have any suggestions for other looks or tutorials you would like to see, be sure to comment and let me know. :)
Today's pictorial is how to get The Perfect Nude Smokey Eye. The look is perfect for the "No makeup" makeup look. For when you want to look put together, but not too over done! With the nude smokey eye you really make your eyes pop in a very subtle way.
I used the Naked Basics Palette to create this look. I love this palette, its (surprisingly) very versatile! Now all these shadows are matte, which is great for any age! But if you are feeling adventurous, you can also use shimmery shadows, or any that are similar to the ones in this palette, that you already have in your own collection. ♥
What is perfect about this eye, is that its dramatic in a very subtle way... Which allows for you to pair it with a gorgeous bold lip! For a classic look, I paired it with red lips.
On my lips I used:
Jordana Lip Liner in 'Scarlet'
The Balm's Lipstick in 'Mia Moore'
Rimmel London 3D Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in 'Red Carpet Glam'.
Here is a quick video for a live view of this look:

ReplyDeleteOh DEAR, you are going to tip me over the edge! Lol I am so close to buying Naked Basics... I mean, c'mon, it says "basic", that should be enough! But this pretty eye look, goodness! As Angie said, it's there, but it's not. :-) Love!
ReplyDeleteI SERIOUSLY needed this. Just in time for my Ball on Friday! Never attempted stuff like this, so hopefully your step by step is the key I need. Wish me luck! haha
