Booty Blaster Workout - With GoGo Girl Fit

Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by today. Ive got someone I'd like to introduce you to. My friend Erika aka GoGo Girl Fit, is going to show you how to get your booty in gear (Literally) just in time for the New Year! You know we all make those resolutions every year to get in shape, am I right? Admit it, you're nodding your head yes right now! ;) How many of us have made that resolution/goal, only to put it off and not lose a pound all year!? HEY, I'm not judging, I have been there before. We all have our reasons... I know a BIG one is not having money, time or baby sister to be able to go to the gym... Well Erika is here to give you a booty blaster workout that YOU can do right from home! Interested? Then read on my dears. ♥

Hi Agape Love Designs Fans!
I'm Erika, Owner and Creative Director of the sexiest dance and fitness brand, GoGo Girl Fit LLC. I started GoGo Girl Fit last year after having worked in the dance and fitness industry for over 5 years. I found my true passion in helping women find their sexy and reach their wellness goals. I have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Colbie Caillat, Andy Grammar, and The Cab; and have danced for Carolina Railhawks pro soccer team, Extreme Networks, Belk Department stores, First Citizen's Bank, amongst others. My passion for dance has always overlapped into fitness, in which I have lead many group fitness classes. I am now in North Carolina, continuing to teach dance and group fitness classes. I hope to get to know each of you better whether it be by becoming a client or just saying 'hey' on my blog!

Generally, when I workout it involves going to the gym and using all the fancy equipment. I use both the cardio and weight machines almost everyday, so when I am in a place where I can't get to a gym, it can get tricky. This is the position I am going to be in soon when I travel to my friend's house for the rest of the holidays. Luckily, all it takes is a little planning to keep your workout going during your travels.

You might be in the same situation now or traveling soon and not sure what to do. I am giving you one of my targeted workouts that I will be doing while I am away, that I named the Booty Blaster! This routine can be done in tight spaces, so you can even do it if your stuck at your family's house with a bunch of kids running around!

Your booty will feel lifted after the first session. But, do it once or twice a week to see real results.

                                                               Squats: 4 sets of 10
Tips: Keep your knees over your toes and pretend like you are sitting back in a chair.

Plie Squat Jump: 3 sets of 10
Tip: Unlike the standard squat, keep your booty in for this one.

Tiny Leg Circles (laying on side): 10 circles front and back (each side)
Tips: Try to keep your upper body still. All the work should come from your hips down.

Clamshell: 4 sets of 10 (optional: add resistance band)
Tips: Open and close the top knee, keeping your feet together.

Side Fire Hydrant: 3 sets of 12
Tips: Start on all fours and pick the knee up and bring back down.
Make sure your knee is going directly to the side.

Donkey Kicks: 4 sets of 15
Tips: Go from all fours and pick up the knee; trying to create a 90 degree andgle like in the pic.

Creating Duo-Chrome Eye Shadows!

Hello Beauty Babes, and happy Makeup Monday to you! Makeup Monday is a fun linky party dedicated to all things beauty. ♥ If you are a beauty blogger/vlogger/instagrammer please feel free to link up any and all of your posts related to Makeup & Beauty!

This week, I am super exciting to share with you how to create some GORGEOUS duo-chrome effect eye shadows! Duo-Chrome eye shadows are so neat, and something that always catches my eye. Whats not to love about something that color shifts!? I mean its like a futuristic quality, that I personally LUUURVE. ♥
So how exactly can YOU create such fun futuristic eye shadows? Well *Insert sale-pitch voice & Vanna White arms here* let me tell you about the amazing, gorgeous, oh so fabulous Eclipse High Lighter Collection from My Beauty Addiction!

"These are so pretty. They appear white in the jar but shift colors before your eyes. Use them alone for a soft glow or as a 'highlight for a softer more subtle look.. Or use them over another eyeshadow color or eyeliner for a super fun, dramatic new look or for a night out on the town!

These are semi sheer colors that are slightly pearlescent and look great used with other eyeshadows or over lipstick or lip balm. Can also be added to lotions for an all over body shimmer. Colors include: Celestial-Violet/Purple, Aurora-Blue, Sphinx-Green, Orion-Golden Orange, Saturn-Pinkish Red, Odyssey-Copper"

In this quick keek video I'm sharing the duo-chrome effects that the MBA eclipse high lighter collection has over the Matte Brown Shade Sepia... But dont stop there! Of course you can layer these over other colors to create any number of duo-chrome eye shadow effects! I just LOVE that!

Beauty Box 5 - December Box Reveal

Hello Beauty Babes, and happy Makeup Monday to you! Makeup Monday is a fun linky party dedicated to all things beauty. ♥ If you are a beauty blogger/vlogger/instagrammer please feel free to link up any and all of your posts related to Makeup & Beauty!

This week, Im going to share with you about a new beauty subscription box I am receiving c/o Beauty Box 5*
Beauty Box 5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a box filled with 5 cosmetic samples to your door every month.
Cost: $12/month, $30/Quarterly, $99/annually
I love getting fun packages in the mail, and also trying new beauty products. What is great about this subscription box is its affordable, and you will definitely get your money's worth. I love the idea of being able to try new beauty samples before committing to spend the money on a full size! With this box I can try new samples (and sometimes full size products) each month. ♥

Here is what was in theDecember Box:
These are the specific items I got in MY box (I did two quick unboxing videos too):

Product Details:

I received an adorable Love In Rio Palette by NYX - the name of the one I got is "Sway With Lola". I think this palette is completely adorable! I LOVE the little box detail on the case. The shadows are subtly pigmented, so they are perfect for those of you wanting to play with color without it looking too crazy. Here is the simple look I created with my palette:
Video of this look:

Body Drench Lotion... I have tried this brand before and really like it. They usually have the most delicious smelling scents. the sample I received was in "Original Scent" which really had no scent. So that was a bummer. But no biggy.

Ofra Cosmetics Sultry Lipgloss Plumper. I personally have never heard of this brand. Have you? Is it new? Either way I was excited to give it a try! I have never used a lip plumper before either. I need to use it a few more times to give a better review, but so far I like it. It gives a very subtle tingling feeling to the lips. Its not too gloopy for a gloss and gives a nice shade to my lips as well.

Clean & Clear Morning burst hydrating gel moisturizer... I have not tried this yet at all! So I cannot say what I think. But I have tried Clean & Clear brand products before and know they are great. SO I am excited to try this sample. During the winter my face gets all kinds of dry, so I love trying moisturizers to see what will work best for me. ♥
Lastly I received the Every Beauty Flexible Foot Scrubber. I have very rough feet, because I walk around barefoot most of the time. So anything to help smooth those suckers out is appreciated by me! I have not used this yet, but am also excited to try it out.

Over all I, again, was completely HAPPY with this months box! Lots of great things to try out. I encourage you to join if you love happy mail and trying new products before a big commitment to buy! BB5 is so worth it. Annnnd I even have a sneak peek of what will be in the December box!!
* Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

Disney Villain: Captain Hook Inspired Makeup

Hello Beauty Babes, and happy Makeup Monday to you! Makeup Monday is a fun linky party dedicated to all things beauty. ♥ If you are a beauty blogger/vlogger/instagrammer please feel free to link up any and all of your posts related to Makeup & Beauty!
As you all know I host this linky part with Andrea, and we decided to also team up for a fun collab! Each Monday we will share a new Disney Villain Inspired Makeup Look! And we invite YOU to also join in on the fun. At the end of this post (before the linky) you will find the schedule, we would LOVE to see your Disney Villain inspired looks!!

This week is Captain Hook, the Villain from Peter Pan! I did a not so dramatic (for me) look for Hook. I used pretty much all the colors in his color pallet, Red-ish Maroon, Yellow-Gold, Purple, black and silver. But what I decided to do to make it very "Captain HOOK" was to make a sort of hook cat eye! Its subtle, but still fun. So...Here is my look inspired by Captain Hook:
Check out this keek for a live view of this look:

For this look I used My Beauty Addiction Mineral Eye Shadows in:
Golden Illusion
Provocative Plum
Stargazer
Matte Black
Twinkle Dust in Gold
Silver Shores (with MBA's Foiling Serum to make the eye liner/hook)

On my lips:
My Beauty Addiction's HD Lipstick in 'Grape Crush'
Lip Dazzles in Gold
Cosmetic Glitter in 'Gold Digger'
You can see video of my lips (here).
All of the shadows were used with Shadow Poxy, and can be found at My Beauty Addiction:

Here is the Disney Villains Schedule if you would like to participate::
