I Confess...You're Gonna Hate Me.

Hello, hello, and happy Friday sweet friends!

Welcome back to this bi-weekly series I'm doing with Michelle of Let it Shine.

This series is called "I Confess" and we will be doing just that, fessing up!

I confess... Aside from an adorable snowman scent burner (that I WON recently) on my kitchen counter, not a single part of our home is decorated for Christmas! We have not even gotten our tree yet. :( #busyfamilyproblems

I confess... I really wanted to participate in dressesember, but failed miserable! I did 3 days, and then just couldn't go on. I guess I didn't factor in the amount of time I'm in gym clothes, and covered in sweat...

I confess... I know I'm probably about offend a lot of people with my next confession. And I'm sorry, but Ive got to get it off my chest!

I confess...I'm seriously starting to get annoyed with every beauty blogger/vlogger and their freakin' Momma talking about the naked 3!

Scrolling through YouTube and seeing 10 videos in a row all titled "naked 3 review and/or swatches", too many practically identical instagram/twitter photos of "my naked 3 arrived package". Facebook/twitter status' all like "OMG I'm gonna die - I got (or) missed getting the N3 before it sold out"!

Ok we get it, the naked 3 is here, you're excited. I know there is hype. But calm down people! It's not the cure for cancer! Sheesh. It's $50 for 12 shadows and a NAME! I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but it almost makes me embarrassed to be a beauty blogger. Goodness people, be original - you don't have to all talk about the same thing! Its just, I dont need 50 people showing me the same thing. I'm a woman of variety. And 1-3 different perspectives/reviews on an item is fine. But when it seems like EVERYONE is talking about one thing and there is nothing else to read/watch it gets annoying FAST!

Now with all that being said I will also say that yes it does look gorgeous! I think the rose gold palette would be pretty and I'd probably enjoy it if I owned it. But am I gonna run out and spend that kind of money on makeup? No... Not right now at least. There are more important things my family can do with $50... Especially during Christmas time!

I confess... I hope you all dont hate me now. lol

I confess... As you're reading this, I am most likely preparing for a nice getaway weekend with my husband, as we celebrate our 9 year anniversary! 

I confess... I cannot believe we have been married 9 years. Time flies.

I confess... I am also mind blown over the fact that 2014 is right around the corner! WOW...
