Clothing Exchange!

I am in love with this totally FABULOUS idea! I was recently invited to a clothing exchange, I had never been to one before, but was SO glad I participated... Because I made out like a bandit. I came home with a Box full of new (to me) clothes. About 5 pair of jeans, 2 pair of shorts, a few workout tops/pants, 3 dresses, a skirt, 2 blazers, a jacket, and about 10 shirts! All for FREE! Yes, free.

So what exactly is a clothing exchange and how can YOU host or participate in one?

Well, first think about your closet... You KNOW there are probably several items in there that you NEVER wear anymore, that dont fit you anymore, or that you bought but ended up not liking... Am I right!?

You are NOT alone sister! We all have those kind of items wasting away in our closet. So... Here is where the brilliant idea of a clothing exchange comes in handy. Gather up all those clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories that you no longer want for some reason or another.... THEN gather up some friends, have them invite friends too, and tell them to raid their own closets for their unwanted items. Then plan a date to get together!

It doesnt have to be anything fancy. The one I went to, we basically all showed up, dumped our boxes/bags of clothes into a HUGE pile on the floor... Then we all at around talking and picking through everything. See something you like? Its yours! Anything left over in the pile that no one wants can be donated!

Its WIN-WIN. You get rid of the items in your closet that are gathering dust, and come home with 'new' items for a renewed wardrobe without having spent a cent! Two items in today's outfit came from my clothing exchange. ♥
