Makeup Eraser Video Review & Demo!

Hello beauty babes, thanks for stopping by today. I have a review to share with you, that I believe is a MUST have for any makeup wearer!! The Makeup Eraser!! If you are like me, you have heard of the Makeup Eraser, but are unsure of what exactly it is....

The Makeup Eraser is an all natural method of your removing makeup. No harsh chemicals needed, just wet the cloth with water and all your makeup is removed. Including waterproof eyeliner & mascara, HD makeup and much more. The best part of the Makeup Eraser is it is reusable, throw it in the wash and no stains remain. The Makeup Eraser will last 1000 washes and eliminate your need to buy product to remove your makeup.  The Makeup Eraser is pink with a sateen edge plush  and soft to the touch. Treat yourself to a spa at home everyday, while saving money!

The Makeup Eraser is $20, and well worth the price! You can purchase one here.

I was very curious about this special wash cloth - could it really remove all my makeup without any face wash or soap? How easy would it be? You may have those same questions! Well, let me tell you - YES it really does work! Its like magic, and I absolutely LOVE this product. It truly makes removing makeup quick and easy. In my video demo below I will show you just how amazing it is and how quickly and easily it works. I actually include TWO demos. One showing how it works versus a regular wash cloth. And one versus how I USED to take off my makeup. Not only is it way less harsh than using a regular wash cloth, but its also quicker and easier than using makeup remover! Watch the demo to see for yourself!!

10 Beauty Product Faves Under $10

Hello Beauty babes, welcome back! Today I have put together 10 of my favorite beauty products under $10! I am a fan of beauty on a budget, and I am always excited to share really great products that dont break the bank. There are so many products I love that are under $10, but these are 10 of my current favorites. Hope you enjoy, and please share with ME what YOUR favorite beauty products under $10!

  1. Its Judy Time Palette from BH Cosmetics. This Palette has a $20 value (according to the site) but is currently on sale for just $8.95. BH Cosmetics is known for having awesome sales on their products ALL THE TIME. I have never seen this palette actually listed for $20. What's great about this palette is its very versatile. Its got a great mix of mattes and shimmers/metallics. Its a palette that just about everyone can feel comfortable using because its mostly neutral shades. The packaging is lovely and the shadow quality is really great too!
  2. The Multitasker Face Powder by Milani. This powder is not only gorgeously designed and packaged but the quality is amazing! I am a HUGE fan of Milani products, because they are SO affordable, yet the packaging and quality is that of more high end products! The cost of this lovely powder is only $6.29! Can you believe it? The powder is very finely milled, and can be used as setting powder, foundation, shine touch up - or even as a highlight or bronzer - with their wide color selection.
  3. Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques. Ive mentioned this sponge a few times before, because its absolutely amazing! At only $6 -its a STEAL compared the Beauty Blender. I absolutely love the shape of this sponge, I feel its more versatile having both a flat side and pointed side. Using a beauty sponge like this is perfect for getting a flawless foundation finish - making it practically impossible to get "cake face". Curious about how to use it? Ive got a video demo here.
  4. Kiss Ever EZ Lashes!! These lashes cost about $3.99 or less. What I love about these lashes is that are super light weight, comfortable and reusable! It doesnt even feel like you are wearing falsies, and they have a variety of lashes ranging from dramatic to very natural. My personal faves are the #11 and I also love #3 for a really natural look! But all of them are gorgeous. They come with an easy to use applicator and glue as well. So its a really great deal.
  5. Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX. I absolutely LOVE these lip creams, which are a cross between a lipstick and lip gloss. They smell amazing, are so creamy and very long lasting. Ive heard they are a close dupe for the Lime Crime Velvetines, but cost only $5.99 and have over 20 shades to choose from!
  6. Mega Last Lipstick by WetnWild. These lipsticks only cost $2.99 and have quickly become my obsession! I have about 15 of them. The color section is amazing, and formula is great (considering the price). A few of the shades can be a little more dry than others (they are matte) but I found that adding a touch of lip balm before or even after helps! I have lip swatches of 6 of the shades I own here if you'd like to see!
  7. HD Lifting Concealer by e.l.f. Cosmetics. This concealer, only $3.00, comes in several flesh tone shades as well as brightening (yellow), balancing (purple) and adjusting (green) shades. I love the yellow one for my dark circles! Its super light weight, but does a great job at concealing and brightening my dark circles. Plus its ingredients include Vitamin C as well as Green Tea! Love!
  8. Baked Blush by Milani. Yes, another Milani product! These blushes are gorgeous and amazing - I have 4 of them and love them all. But the shade Rose D'oro is my all time favorite blush of LIFE! Yes - its that gorgeous. Again, the packaging is absolutely stunning, they look so luxurious in gold! However the price is only $8.49.
  9. Best Lash Extreme Mascara by Jordana. I am very picky when it comes to mascara and many of you probably already know that my holy grail mascara is the Define-a-lash from Maybelline. But I had received this Jordana mascara in a swap and quickly fell in love. Its a great mascara - perfect for adding volume and length without the look of spider lashes! Whats most shocking about this mascara is the low price of only $2.99! WHAT!? I mean, how could I NOT mention it!? This is one very cheap mascara that is totally worth a lot more.
  10. Suave Dry Shampoo. This is another product that I have mentioned before, but it remains a TOP favorite of mine! There are a lot of products out there in the world of Dry Shampoo - and I have tried quite a few of them ranging in price from $3-$20... And yet I always come back to this one from Suave. Its just under $3 and why pay more for others when this one is just as amazing. Its got a great smell, adds volume, and helps keep looking fresh for days!

Classic Black Smokey Eye {Tips & Tutorial}

"How do you blend black eye shadow in the crease without making the whole lid darker?" This is a common question many people ask concerning the classic black smokey eye! I know working with black eye shadows can be scary and definitely tricky! So today I am answering that question for you, sharing a few tips when working with black eye shadows. As well you can watch the video tutorial below to see for yourself how to create the classic black smokey eye without looking like a racoon! For this look and tutorial I am using the Naked Basics Palette.

Quick tips:
-Do your eye makeup before applying foundation. This way if there is any fall out, you can easily clean it up before you put on the rest of your makeup!
-Start out with a cream or flesh colored shadow. Apply from crease to brow bone. When you apply a lighter color first on the area of your eyelid that you DONT want the black to be. This will help keep the dark shadow from taking over the entire lid and it helps with blending.
-Use a transition color! I like to use a matte brown shadow, and blend this into the crease before applying the black shadow. Applying a transition color that is a touch lighter than black will really help when blending, and keep the black eye shadow from spreading farther up your lid!
-Once you get to the black eye shadow, start with MINIMAL product! You can always build up the color - but its harder to take away. Apply in a gentle patting motion going from your crease and patting DOWN towards your lash line. This way you are not sweeping upwards and flicking black shadow higher on your eyelid.
-Lastly, use a white or flesh toned eye liner to your water line! When wearing black all around the eyes, it can make your eyes "shrink". Adding a touch of white eye liner will help your eyes look brighter, wider and more awake, so they dont get lost in the dark shadows!

Watch the video below for a full tutorial along with helpful tips on creating the classic black smokey eye.

Shining Like A Diamond

Wearing:
Skirt: Ross
Booties: Target
Necklace & Bracelet: Maurices
Stamped Ring: Litva's Jewelry

Years ago I came across a story about a certain bible verse that has always stuck with me for many reasons. When I happened to see this awesome shirt, it reminded me of that story again, and the lessons and encouragement I have taken from it. So I purchased it for myself so I can have a more constant reminder. And since I have gained so much through this story, I thought I would share it with you today.

~♥~"In the late 1800s, a group of women enrolled in a bible study came across Malachi 3:3-- "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." Since no one understood the verse, they commissioned one of their number to explore the process of refining silver and report back to them at their next study. The woman called a silver smith, making an appointment to watch him work.

On the appointed day, she saw him hold a piece of silver over the fire, letting it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were the hottest, so that all the impurities would burn away. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she remembered the verse, that he sits as a refiner and purifier of the silver.

She asked the silversmith if it was true he had to sit in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The silversmith answered that he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but had to keep his eye on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left even for a moment too long in the flames it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" he smiled. "Oh, that's easy. The refining process is complete when I can see my image in it."~♥~

Reading that again now gives me chills! It reminds me that when we truly see the work God does in us, we begin to understand just why we are going through such hard times. We can trust that if God is our refiner, then he will make us pure as silver with his image shining through us. Shining like a diamond. The part that says the silversmith must sit and hold the silver while it's in the flames and must keep his eye on the silver the entire time or if it's in there too long it will be destroyed, really gets to me!

I can just imagining God hold me in his hands while I am in "the flames". When ever I am or have faced a challenge in my life, any stress, any pain - EVERY hard part of life - GOD is holding me in His loving hands. Always watching over me, never letting me go or taking his eyes off me, knowing exactly when to bring me out of my hot spot, lest I be destroyed. And this is never with the intent to hurt me, his child. Its only with the refining process in mind, to purify me,and bring me to a place where He can see His image in me! And so others can see Him through me! How comforting is that to hear? This goes for YOU too, and all His children.

Another verse that comes to mind is this: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." - James 1:2-3

God is good all the time! When we understand exactly how God is working in us, even in - especially in- our hard times…We can feel comforted and relief and yes even JOY. It makes me so grateful for all that He has done in my life. Good or bad…God is always there. No matter what I face, He will never leave my side nor take his eyes off me. He will make a good work in me! And its my prayer that His image is really starting to shine from me…So bright that EVERYONE that I know, that I meet or happen to come across will see God's imagine in me too. And I pray that you too can find joy in your fires, because you can trust that God is working on you… Refining, purifying and creating His imagine in you.

WNW Mega Last Lipsticks Review & Swatches

Hello beauty babes! Today I am back with another review and swatches of Wet n Wild's Mega Last Lipsticks! You can read my original review, and see swatches of 6 other shades (here). Ever since I tried those 6, I have totally fallen for these lippies! The price is amazing anywhere from $1.99-$2.99, depending on where you buy and if they are one sale.

I knew I wanted to get my hands on some more shades, and I was STILL on the look out for 'Pinkerbell'... So I decided to search online. That's when I found every shade available at drugstore.com! I was super excited, so I purchased 7 more shades to try, including - YES - Pinkerbell!!

What's great is that all of these shades, except Pinkerbell, are perfect for Fall/Winter right now! And even better? I believe WNW has improved their formula! In my original review, I mentioned they were a little bit dry/chalky, but looked great when worn with a lip balm. However, these 7 new shades I have, didn't need lip balm added! They are a lot creamier and smoother. So I still highly recommend! Now lets get to the swatches....

CHERRY BOMB:
COREL-INE:
PINKERBELL:
RAVIN' RAISIN:
ROSE BUD:
SPIKED WITH RUM:
WINE ROOM:

The last three are very similar but vary slightly in tone. All of them are gorgeous though, very long lasting and easy to wear! I think my very favorite shades are Pinkerbell, Rose Bud and Wine Room.

Which are your favorites??
