"Come in, Come IN my child.... We mustn't lurk in doorways... Its RUDE!" - Ursula
Hello my darlings! Thanks for visiting me today! So not too long ago (about 2 weeks maybe) I did a little unboxing and review of this super awesome Subscription box called Wanatable. Do you recall? If you dont, or you missed it, you can see that post here. THAT box was Wantable's Intimates box, which I LOVED! This month, I got the opportunity to receive their Makeup box!
Before, I get to what was in my box, let me just tell you a little bit about Wantable. If you already know about Wantable, just skip to below...Wantable is difference from other boxes (that I have tried at least) in
that they offer unique and practically custom boxes, by asking customers
a series of product
and personality questions! Theu then use this data to introduce
customers
to assortments of products perfectly suited to their personal taste.
Wantable offers three categories of boxes o choose from: Makeup,
Accessories, or Intimates! These boxes come with FULL size products, NOT
samples. You can choose to do a subscription for only $36 a month,
(with the option to stop, or pause at any time). Or you can do a one
time purchase for $40. That is an amazing price for what you get in your box. The total of the items in my own box this month retails for $74! So this is definitely worth it!
What I personally love about Wantable is that because of the questions they asked me to create my
custom profile, my box was filled with only items I really like and
love. In the series of questions they ask, you can rate items, colors,
patterns and such as Love it, Like it, or Hate it. And they will never
send you anything you hate! So you are sure to only get things you will
love!
I was very happy with the items in my January Makeup box... Let me just
show what I received. BTW... If you are interested in seeing quick
unboxing videos of my subscription boxes RIGHT when I get them in the
mail, be sure to follow me on keek for the first peek!
OK, firstly, I must just compliment the packaging. So cute, and complimentary. ;)
So one of the things we got in this package was a little sample... Which was just a bonus item, not considered a 'main item' from the box.
Next was this Starlooks glitter liner pencil ($14 Value), which looks fabulous! I cant wait to incorporate this into some of my makeup looks.
Another item I go was this FACE Stockholm nail polish ($12 value). I thought it was super cute that its name is "Want-A-Blue", get it? Want-a-Blue in my Wantable box! ;) I love a good pun. ♥ Also, just FYI... If that price surprised you (like it did me) for a nail polish, I WILL say that this polish lasted me a good week before chipping. I dont know about YOU, but for me, Nail polish lasts about 2 days before chipping and cracking.
From Bella Beauty, this gorgeous lip gloss ($11). I LOVE lip gloss! And this is a pretty big tube.
Lastly is something I am MOST intrigued by... Which is this Mistura 6 in 1 Beauty Powder($37). At first glance, I thought it was going to bee too dark for me, and maybe something I would have to use as a bronzer. However, when I swatched it (as you can see in the photo below) the powder surprisingly blended right into my skin without being noticeably darker at all!
After that, I read on to find out that this was a 6-1 "magic" powder that works for all skin tones and helps to mute rosacea and other blemishes. Now that is an interesting claim! One which I will put to the test... So you will see a separate full review on this specific product very soon!
I may sound redundant in saying that I am super excited about this box. BUT I cant help it. This item is one of those things that I would want to try, but may be hesitant to get because of the high price... But now I can tell YOU if this item is worth it. Also, I had never heard of this product before... So thats just another thing I am excited about... Getting full sized products to try, and get familiar with. ♥
Over all I am extremely pleased with this box. You cant beat that price for what this box is actually worth! I am happy that I have new brands to try, and that the quality of the items is amazing.
