EDWARD BESS Compact Rouge in 'Love Affair' Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Hello beauty babes! Welcome back to my bloggity blog. Today I am sharing a review of the Edward Bess Compact Rouge (For lips & cheeks) in the shade 'Love Affair', that I received via LuxePinapple.
Love Affair is described as.... "a bright baby pink/ watermelon shade. Summer is almost here, be ready! Or at least be ready to get a gorgeous flush of color. Get a glow on the go with this silky, smooth cream formula that imparts a rich, luminous tint on lips and cheeks. This versatile formula instantly brightens for a radiant touch of color you’ll adore. Keep the sleek designer compact in your purse for an extra brush of pretty wherever you are. We would almost just buy this based on how beautiful the packaging is. Boxed, and the compact is housed in a lovely velvet pouch. It just feels posh. .05oz/1.5g Currently retailing at THE BEST stores for $38.00 (Purchase at LuxePinapple for only $32)"

As you can see from the photos, this shade actually leans more towards the bright baby pink color, than a watermelon shade. I am wearing it on both my cheeks and lips. Still, its a lovely shade, that I think would flatter most all skin tones. And because of the fact that its a cream product, its easily bendable and build-able. So you can wear it lighter, as I am, or build it up for a more vibrant color.
For this look, I applied to my lips with my finger. You could also use your fingers to dab and blend onto your cheeks as well... But, I used a small stippling brush (pictured) to apply to my cheeks. A little dab into the compact, then onto the cheeks goes a long way. Blend out and build the color if you wish.

Things to note...

-The compact itself is VERY small.
-A little goes a long way.
-Applies smoothly.
-Easily blendable.
-This product does have a lovely sweet scent as well.
-Mostly opaque.
-Looks very natural.
-Has a nice texture, not too sticky or oily.
-Long lasting!
-Gives a natural look.

Over all I really enjoy this product. Its nice to have a 2 in 1 kind of product that actually works well both ways as it claims. The shade shows up beautifully pigmented on my lips, yet subtle and natural on my cheeks! It has a great texture that doesn't feel sticky or anything when applying to your cheeks, while still feeling nice and moisturizing when on the lips. I also really enjoy the scent. I'd say the only down side to it is the price, for how small the product really IS! So if you want it, I'd definitely recommend you get it at a discount from a place like LuxePinapple, while its still available.
Now as I mentioned already this product was sent to me from LuxePinapple.
