Hyaluronic Acid Cream & Vitamin C Serum Review

Hello beauty babes! Today I am sharing a quick review of two products I have been using for the past couple of weeks... Hyaluronic Acid Cream, and Vitamin C Serum. I received both of these items c/o Renew Essentials for free to review, but of course all thoughts are my own honest opinions.

Now before I get onto my review I would like to mention that I do currently have a giveaway going on the for Hyaluronic Acid Cream, enter here, it ends in 6 days. And if at the end of this review, you are interested in purchasing either the cream or vitamin c serum, you can get 50% OFF with code "N2MXH9ME". Code is only valid till the end of July!

When I was asked to review this product, I decided to do a little research about Hyaluronic Acid, and I found some really great info that I wanted to share with you...

Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, HA) has many benefits and is one of the most interesting ingredients in skin care, specifically. Naturally found in the body, hyaluronic acid secures moisture and creates fullness—youthful skin naturally abounds with hyaluronic acid. In skin care, you can find hyaluronic acid creams, serums, injectables... Hyaluronic acid is also a “smart nutrient” as it can adjust its moisture absorption rate based on the humidity—relative to the season and the climate. Now its only been a couple weeks since I started using this cream, so I am not seeing a HUGE difference in my skin, but so far I am really enjoying it in my daily routine. Its a nice thick non-greasy cream that absorbs quickly into my skin.  My skin is typically on the dry side and this has really helped keep it feeling soft and hydrated without feeling greasy at all! So I know this will be perfect for all skin types... Because no matter what your skin type - dry or oily - your skin still needs to be hydrated!

As for the Renew Essentials Vitamin C Serum... I will warn you, it has a strange scent. To me it smelled like hot dogs... I asked The Hubs and he said it smelled like bologna. I am mentioning this, because if you get it and notice a weird smell - its normal. I contacted the Renew Essentials rep, because I was curious if maybe I got a bad one... But he said it was completely normal. And the artificial orange scent could be added, but to keep cost lower, they do not add a fragrance. So there is that!

Now, I have actually been using Vitamin C serum for a while... And I was excited to get another bottle to use, since I was almost out. There are all kinds of benefits to Vitamin C Serums....

~It protect the skin from damaging free radicals.
~Serums are able to penetrate the surface layers of the skin to deliver its collagen-stimulation benefits!

I jumped aboard the Vitamin C Serum "band wagon" a while back once I heard to many people raving about it. And how it has helped improve their skin and make them appear more youthful. I will be 30 next month, and even though my wrinkles are just faint lines, I am still very conscience of them! So I have been actively trying to better take care of my skin. Less time in the sun, remembering to always use Sun Screen (I never used to!) and also protecting it from environmental stresses/free-radicals with Vitamin C Serum! My skin tone is a lot more brighter and firm since using Vitamin C serum. So, I am a big fan!

Now that you know a little more about these product, remember, you can get 50% OFF with code "N2MXH9ME". Code is only valid till the end of July!
