Radiant Rose Gold EOTD Tutorial

Hello beauty babes! Today I have a stunning look to share with you! I posted this video tutorial on the LuxePineapple Youtube channel, but I wanted to also share some photos for you, here, that way you can get a closer look, or pin them to pinterest for later inspiration! And also because I thought this look came really close to the look you would get with the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow! Ive heard many people say they love the look, but not so much the price!

What I used to create this look was the Makeup Forever Uplight Gel, which I got at a huge discount via LuxePineapple! So if you happen to have this gel, bust it out and use it to create this stunning "Radiant Rose Gold" Eye look! Watch the video tutorial below.
Watch the video tutorial!
And don't forget to subscribe to the LP Youtube Channel, so you don't miss out!
I don't always share every video posted there on my blog here.

Framesi Color Lover Curl Define Shampoo & Conditioner Review + Giveaway

Attention all hair dying - curly haired beauties! I have a product that you are going to love for your hair. ♥ Framesi Color Lover Curl Define Shampoo & Conditioner. This set specifically created to CURL DEFINE. To define, de-tangle and delight curls with an infusion of moisture while keeping haircolor 95% longer.
Curl Define Shampoo: Sulfate free, moisturizing shampoo. Contains an advanced blend of Quinoa, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice & vitamins, combined with a unique Rice Curl Complex to enhance curls. Combats dull, dry, frizzy hair for soft, defined, radiant curls.

Curl Define Conditioner: Ultra defining daily conditioner inspires curls. Quinoa, natural oils & vitamins combined with a unique Rice Curl Complex work in synergy to enhance curls. Controls frizz & keeps curls defined all day.

As you can tell my hair is wavy-curly, and most of you know that black is NOT my natural hair color. And I have found that lately my hair had been very dull and weighed down. Making it look almost straight on most days. As much as I used to desire straight hair - I LOVE my curly hair, and was missing it. Once I started using this curl define shampoo set, my hair has started to get its curl definition back! You can see in the photo above how lovely and shiny my wavy hair looks again!

There  are so many Pros to this shampoo & conditioner, all the things listed in the above photo PLUS, it smells amazing! I LOVE the smell, and even after it dries my hair still smells so good. Even my husband complimented me on it after hugging me and catching a whiff.

The only "con" I can think of is the price! At almost $20 each - this can be a hefty price for many. I know I typically make purchased based on the price tag most of the time, but I have been known to spend a decent amount on Salon Shampoo's before. And if you usually purchase Salon shampoo too, you may be used to the price, and can understand and appreciate the worth of the product. Especially one that will help you keep your color longer, and that is Vegan, Gluten free, paraben free, sulfate free and more!

The quality is there and I have been loving this Shampoo! So I am sure you will too. Now here is a little happy surprise for you! A giveaway for the Framesi Color Lover Curl Define Shampoo & Conditioner set! If you dont want to buy - you can at least enter for your chance to WIN this set. This giveaway is only open to residents of the USA. My apologizes to all whom this excludes.

Fall Organization!

With Fall is officially here I am sure many of you, like me, are pulling out warmer clothes and Fall weather accessories. And if you are not, you're probably planning to very soon! I recently pulled out my box of scarves and got them quickly and nicely organized in my closet with the Epica 18-Look Scarf Hanger. ♥

I really like the sturdy and sleek chrome design. Not only does it look nice and less bulky, but it definitely holds up the weight of all my scarves - compared to a regular hand that tends to bend under the weight... As you can see in the before/after photo below. What else is really great about this hanger is its no snag design. Its so frustrating when I go to grab a scarf and it snags on the plastic hanger. In addiction the separate loops provide quick and easy access to each individual scarf, so you dont end up with a heap on the ground trying to pull out the scarf you want!

Lastly the design is very versatile. Grab a few of these and use one for scarves, another for belts, or ties! The price is just under $9, which is reasonable considering how sturdy it is, and how many scarves it can hold.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Farewell Summer Outfit

Outfit Details:
Top: Watermelon Sparklies
Earrings: Local Boutique (Plum Crazy)

Is anyone else having a hard believing that tomorrow will officially be Fall!? I feel like every one says this same thing every year - how we cant believe how fast the year has flown by! But honestly, this year seemed to go by even faster - I swear! Well, I was thinking about the fact that Summer will officially over. So I decided I'd post a little farewell and last hoorah for Summer outfit. Even though here in Cali, it will most likely feel like summer until Mid-October...

However, in blog-land I am sure most everyone is over Summer and ready to read about and look at Fall and pumpkin EVERYTHING! Right? I know, I feel you! Summer is my favorite, but I too am ready for Fall. So here is my last Hoorah and farewell to Summer outfit post! ♥ A fun and flirty watermelon tank, that I am currently obsessed with, an easy breezy (and yes WHITE) skirt, with some cute and colorful jewelry to match.

How are you saying farewell to Summer?

8 Steps to Lose Weight Without Even Trying

How to lose weight without even trying

In recent times, apart from the stressful living that every individual is going through, weight loss is a thing that most of us are concerned about. The fact that obesity has adverse effects on the overall health of the individual has forced people to think about the best possible ways to lose weight and stay healthy. There are a number of ways that are introduced to help people shed those extra pounds.

But, how easy are these methods? It is often seen that people tend to begin with a certain plan and then get bored of it. This is because these plans include extremely strict instructions that have to be followed. But, it is impossible to change a habit simply within a fortnight. Thus, many people give up very soon. But, have you ever come across a way in which you do not have to put in any efforts. Yes, you can enjoy your life like you always do. Let us take a look at some important things that are usually performed in a day and contribute highly towards reducing considerable amount of weight.

1. Get involved in something you love doing: When your mind is busy enjoying the work that you have taken in hand, you will not crave for those high calorie foods that you may have munched several times. You can just take up any work. This can be something that you do at work, a household chore or a part of your hobby. Anything done with concentration will keep you away from unnecessary food cravings.

2. Enough of Sleep: Although you might have heard this many times, it is important and thus needs to be mentioned. According to a study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, it was found that people who slept for only 5 hours or less at night were having about 30% more weight than those who slept for 7 hours or more.

3. Keep healthy food closer: It is often found that laziness is a cause why people eat whatever is kept nearest to them. Making sure that you keep healthy food like fruits and salads around. Keep all the other junk food and snacks aside. You will surely eat the fruits or salads as they are easy to reach. You don’t have to do much for this. Eat healthy food kept within your own comfort zone.

4. Include salads at the end of meals: It is a good habit to include salads with your food. Serve yourself enough amount of salad as compared to the other portions in your plate. You don’t have to sacrifice anything that you love eating. You just have to eat it along with salads. Taking enough amounts of salad on the plate will not only allow you to increase the healthy food seen there, but will also help you avoid the second serving that you may look forward to.

5. Drink Lots of Water: Water is a liquid that helps us clear all the toxin content within the body. High consumption of water along with a low calorie diet helps in reducing more weight than those who simply adopt a low calorie diet. Thus, drinking lots of water is a must for weight loss.

6. Alcohol with Deserts is a big “NO”: It is not necessary that you completely stop drinking alcohol. It may be difficult for someone who is used to it. Thus, one thing that everyone should keep in mind is that you cannot consume alcohol and desserts during the same meal. This increases the number of calories being consumed. It is thus important to make sure that you select one among them when you are sitting for a meal.

7. Eat while sitting at the table: One thing that is observed when people are out for gatherings and parties is that they tend to eat more. According to the studies performed at Cornell University’s Brand lab, people tend to eat more while they are serving themselves from a larger container. It is thus important to be seated at the table while the food is being served on your plate. This will limit the amount of quantity at first. You are free to take a second serving.

8. Eat Slowly: It is usually said that each mussel that you take should be bit 32 times. This will help you digest your food well and also help you in reducing the speed of eating. The stomach takes about 20 minutes to pass a signal to the brain saying that it is full. So, you need to be sure that every meal that you have should take at least 15 or 20 minutes for you to finish. It will give you the right signal about when you are full.

These are the eight steps that will help you lose weight without sacrificing a lot of food or time that the other methods ask you to do. This is one of the easiest ways that will help you to lose weight without putting in any extra effort. All you need to do is concentrate on each thing that you are about to do or eat in a day. Gradually you will get used to this and later it will become a healthy habit that will help you reduce weight and stay fit for a long run.

The Skin Regime Boot Camp Results

Hello beauty babes! Thanks for joining me today, I am super excited to tell and mostly SHOW you the results of The Skin Regime's Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin! For those of you who dont know about The Skin Regime, I do encourage you to check out my first post about it (here). I go into a lot more detail about what it is, and the beginning stages of doing boot camp, in that first post. But quickly The Skin Regime's Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin is a book all about how to easily and affordable do the "boot camp", to transform your skin, and how to maintain you new healthy skin! Its a very easy and informative read - that is a must if you are going to use the Skin Regime's 1-4-ALL Peel (which is part of the boot camp).

Today I am sharing the review and results of doing the boot camp, and my skin's transformation! Now I did a full video review where I talk a lot more in detail about my results. That video is below and I encourage you to watch it for a full understanding of this review and my results. But overall, SEEING my results - as you will in the photos below, will speak for themselves!

Some things to note with these pictures is that they are completely un-touched and unedited, aside from the fact that I put them side by side and wrote "before and after" on them! The lighting is a little bit different, which bothers me! Its so hard to recreate the exact lighting - but I took both of these around the same time of day (the morning), in the same place in my house (right in front of a big window)!
Looking at my face straight on, there are a couple things I personally notice about my skin. First is how much smoother it looks, not just in the pictures, but in person. As well my skin is so much softer - it truly feels like baby skin! You can kind of see that in the photos though, how much smoother my skin looks. The other thing that I noticed is my overall skin tone is just so much nicer now. Ive got this natural glow and flush of color. And I know that may be hard to believe in these photos, because the lighting seems so different. But truly my skin just looks so much healthier! So much so that I have even been going without foundation a lot more often!!

And just as a side note, if you are noticing the amazing transformation my lips have had as well... That is due to two amazing lip products I have been using since the "before" photos were taken! If you'd like to know more you can find out more in this post for the first product, and this post for the second product!

The other BIG difference the boot camp and 1-4-ALL Peel has made in my skin can be found on my cheeks! I used to have these dark spots on both sides of my face. I learned that these spots are called melasma. Melasma is patches of dark skin that appear on areas of the face exposed to the son. I have gone years and years without wearing sun screen. I wear it all the time now, but when I was younger I assumed because I didn't get sun burned, that I didn't need it! Never thinking about how the sun was damaging my skin! Now these dark patches were not really bad. They were faint, but noticeable. Still you can see in both of these profile photos just how much those dark patches have almost completely disappeared! I am in awe!

Now that you have seen my results, you might be curious to hear what else I have to say. So I do encourage you to watch the video review below! And if you think you might want to try the Skin Regime's Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin, you can purchase the book, and peel and other Skin Regime items in their shop here. Also, Id love to know what you think of the results, and if you have any questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to ask!!
