Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick & Lip Gloss Swatches

Hello beauty babes! Thank you so much for stopping by. So today I was super excited to share some lip swatches with you of 8 Gerard Cosmetics Lippies, that I recently won. But with all the drama over GC right now, I have to admit I was a little nervous to post this... However, I had filmed, edited & scheduled this before everything happened, so this may seem selfish, but I didn't want all my work to be for nothing. So I am posting this anyways. I truly hope no one takes offense at all.

I did want to note that I am super saddened by things that were said and done. I found a lot of people to be very un-professional and I do believe that things could have been handled better... On BOTH sides. But we are all human after all and we ALL make mistakes. With that thought in mind, I sort of prefer to stay neutral to the situation. Personally, I am not for or against anyone at this point.

With all that being said - I want you all to know that I am in NO way sponsored or paid by Gerard Cosmetics. The lippies I am showing in today's video I did WIN (some from GC and some from a fellow Youtuber). But I was not asked or required to talk or post about them. As well, I have purchased from GC previously with my own money and posted a video about those products (that video review is linked below)... But I do not get anything out of talking about these products. I just like doing Lip Swatch photos and videos! ;)

Because this is also a mini review I do mention good and bad things about the products in this video. I am always honest with you all! We all know, there is no perfect product, each one has its pros and cons. I have nothing to gain from lying. I only have something to lose... And that is your trust. Which I value too much to sacrifice by lying!

Now that all that is out of the way *Sigh* I do hope that you enjoy these swatches. Below you will find photos of Gerard Cosemtics Lipsticks in Rodeo Drive, Berry Smoothie & Cherry Cordial, as well as Gerard Cosmetics Lip Glosses in Butter Cream, Rose Hill, Raspberry Sherbet, Pouty Princess, & Candy Apple! Each photo was taken in natural light without a flash! The glosses, though, have a light on them that cast some light on the lips (as you might notice).

At the very end of this post is my video review with video swatches as well! That way you can get an idea of how they look "live". I show each lippie close up and on my full face as well to give you all the best idea of how they look! Hope you find these swatches helpful. ♥

♥Check out my previous Gerard Cosmetics Lip Swatch Post (which includes All Dolled Up, 1995, Tequila Sunrise, Nude, & Fire Engine Lipsticks) HERE!!!
If you would like to see "live" video swatches of these lippies (Shown close up and full face)
I encourage you to watch the video below:

  1. Those lip glosses look a bit too goopy in for my tastes, lovely colors though!! Did you see the bullying and mean things that creator said about those reviewing his products?

    1. The Beauty and The Business - Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment!! :) I really like the glosses, I don't find them to be goopy. Surprisingly they are pretty light weight and not sticky at all.

And to answer your question, Yes I am aware of everything going on with GC right now, which is why I mentioned it all in the beginning of this post. Maybe you didnt read that?

Because I am not a fan of hearsay and gossip - which ends up twisting and exaggerating truth... I'd to clarify that the owner of GC is a woman, not a man. And she made one comment - not several, about one specific person who reviewed her products. I am not defending her, but I just think everyone should have the facts straight.

I am definitely disappointed because I think that was completely un-professional, and uncalled for the owner to say as well as have it posted (knowingly or unknowingly) on social media for all to see...

That aside, I still enjoy the products - and had created this video and post before this incident happened (it was scheduled). Not wanting to waste the time and effort I put into it, I let it post anyways. As I already stated in this post, I just want to stay neutral to the situation. I am not for or against anyone.

  3. I love me some Gerard Cosmetics. I've heard both sides of the drama, and I guess it's more of a lesson to watch what you say and just be nice. Oh well. These look great on you.

    1. Right! Especially for someone with a HUGE social media following as well as someone who is the owner of a company... Its not smart business to just say whatever you want. ;) Anyways, thanks so much for your comment/compliment! ♥
