Hello beauty babes, do you ever have those days where you need to look presentable, but don't have a lot of time for makeup?! That has been me a lot recently. In situations like that I like to do my foundation routine first, and then if I have time I'll do a quick eye look, just to make me look bright eyed and more awake. This is just a super simple and quick look - nothing fancy! Today I figured I would share this look with you via a video tutorial below. ♥
For this kind of quick look, I really prefer to use Colourpop shadows, because they have such a unique creamy powder consistency that wont leave any fall out. I also find that I don't need to use any shadow primer with these and they still last all day. So that eliminates one more step for me. I do want to mention that the specific shades I am using for this tutorial were LE shadows - so if you got your hands on the Barely Blitz collection from CP - then you can use the same ones! Otherwise, you can find very similar shades on the CP site. All you need is a matte brown shade, a shimmer cream shade, and then a high light shadow.
Because this is just a quick look, I did not use false lashes for this look, but my lashes still look pretty glamorous. I'm not tooting my own horn, I have just literally gotten SO MANY compliments on my lashes when I was wearing this look. Many people asking what mascara I was using. And if you were curious too - its my new holy grail mascara Lash Sensational from Maybelline! I normally dont include footage of me applying mascara, but I did in today's video just so you can see how amazingly it applys and looks!

aw thank you so much friend!
DeleteMaria ~ I've said it before, you look so pretty with or without makeup. But for me, I just love that you did this look. Most days this is what I need! Thank you so much...watching the video right now!
ReplyDeleteaw you are too sweet! Thank you so much! ♥
DeleteThis eye look is stunning and really brightens up your eyes! I can't seem to get the hang of colourpop shadows, my lids are too small to apply them with my fingers, but brushes don't deliver much pigmentation. I'll have to play around with them so more.
ReplyDeleteOh really!? I have not had trouble applying them with a brush. I typically only apply them with a brush and they turn out just fine. Except for the more metallic ones - those I find best applied with a finger for sure. But a flat synthetic brush works well too!
DeleteSo natural and fresh! I love your eyelashes. I never use the lip gloss for everyday, maybe I will try it
