Hey friends, thanks for visiting with me today! So today's post might seem a little out of place here on my blog, however its really kind of a "throw back" to what this blog used to be about. Those of you who have been around for more than a few years might remember that this blog used to be "Agape Love Designs & Photography". I am definitely NOT a professional photographer by any means. But photography is something I do have a small passion for, just not a lot of time for. I used to do a lot of "photo shoots" to earn a little cash here and there. However when I decided to really change directions for this blog, I stopped having as much time to dedicate to portrait photography, I also started feeling really insecure about my "abilities" as a "photographer". I don't shoot in full manual mode and I was never "professionally" thought. Everything I learned, I learned on my own. And as much as I wanted to learn more, as I said - I just didn't have the time. So I pretty much stopped doing portrait photography all together.
That is until recently, when my sister asked me to take her daughter, Rachel's Maternity Portraits. Of course I said yes! I was also asked to do her makeup for the portraits as well, which duh, of course I said yes to! I had so much fun doing this portrait session, that I almost missed doing this so often. ALMOST. ;) More than anything, I really enjoyed doing Rachel's Makeup. Doing makeup is really what I LOVE to do. Here is a little behind the scenes peek of me doing her makeup.
For her eyes I used MBA Cosmetics 11/15 Palette of the Week, and the MBA Cosmetics False Lashes in Baby Doll. - Ive got a promo code that saves you 15% at mbacosmetics.com - AGAPELOVE15
For her lips I used the Luxe Pineapple Lip Gloss in 'Confident'.
She is flat out Stunning. *Insert ALL The HEART Eyes emoji here*
Mother & Daughter. So Sweet!
And just for fun, here are a few more "behind the scenes" shots! Its so funny to see me "in action"! haha
And lastly, here I am with my beautiful niece. ♥
I had such a wonderful time doing Rachel's makeup, hanging out with her and my sister.
I feel honored to have taken her maternity portraits. This was such a great day. ♥
