Hello beauties and welcome! Today I have a review and (video) demo to share with you of the new Lash+Line Superlash Mascara and Liquid Liner from Model Co. Many thanks to Model Co for sending me this product to review. ♥ As you can see from the photos, this is a convenient 2-in-1 mascara and liquid eyeliner product and the price is $23.
The mascara wand is very unique, unlike any I have seen. (Be sure to check out the video for a better close up) It has a curved wand, but unlike most mascara wands that are round, this one is flat! I like it be cause if you use the thin side you can get precision in your application and coat the lower lashes quick and easy without any mess. Using the wider flat side on the upper lashes makes application a lot quicker than is typical for me. And then again if you go in with the thinner side of the wand you add a little more volume to your lashes as well.
This mascara provides what I would call subtle drama to your lashes. I don't find that it really lifts, separates and lengthens the lashes as much as other mascaras that I consider holy grail status. However it does give enough lift to get the job done. It adds volume and gives this feathery look that is really so pretty. So I wouldn't say this mascara is my favorite (just because of personal preferences - as I said, I prefer a more separated lash look) but its over all a great mascara that I really like.
The liner I find to be somewhat unique as well. Unlike most liquid liners (that you would dip into product) with a brush tip, this one has a felt tip. Which I absolutely LOVE! You get the precision of a felt tip liner (which usually comes in a pen form), with the pigmentation of a brush/dip liquid liner. This is awesome in my opinion because I typically use felt tip liners on the daily. I prefer them specifically for the more precise look and line you can get with them versus a brush tip. However I do find that with a felt tip, you can sometimes loose pigmentation when trying to apply over shadows.... So you end up either having to apply twice or just not having a very black, black liner. If you get what I mean?
With this liner, though, I don't have that problem. Since you can dip the felt tip into the product you can get more saturation and a nice dark pigmented black line! And on that same note, I must say this is one of the blackest liquid liners I have used. (Check out the video for comparisons) This liner is also dries quickly, is smudge proof and very long lasting!
Something else worth mentioning is the size! When I first looked at it, I thought it was so tiny it might be hard to use. Fortunately I found the opposite to be true. Because the handle is so small I find it much easier to use. I can keep a nice steady line and easily create a beautiful winged line. Which I hardly ever do - because typically I am awful at winged liner. Not with this liner though, it makes creating a wing much easier for me. I am overall very impressed with this liner!
Overall I am very impressed with this product. I absolutely love the convenience of a 2 n 1 product. And I especially love the fact that now (finally) create such pretty winged liner looks. ♥
I hope you found this review helpful - let me know if you have any questions. And please be sure to watch the video below!
I do mention a lot of what I mentioned here in this post, but I also include close ups of the product itself as well as liner comparisons and of course demonstrations of both the mascara and liner. So you can see them in action and easy to use they are!
