Luminess Air Legend Airbrush System Review

Some items provided for consideration {Thank you Hawke Media & Luminess Air} however, all thoughts, tips & opinions are my own.
Hello beauty babes and welcome, today I am back with another review for you! I recently received the Luminess Air Legend Airbrush system (pink) kit c/o Luminess Air and am very excited to share my thoughts with you. ♥ I am a total airbrush newbie, but I found this system to be extremely quick and easy to use. The system does include an instructional DVD, but whats great is that you can find several youtube videos with tips and application tutorials right on their website! These are a big help, and I watched quite a few of them while I waited to receive my Luminess Air System. So by the time I had it in hand, I already felt very familiar with it.
Luminess Air offers several basic kits to choose from ranging from $160-$249. Kits include Airbrush Compressor and Stylus, AC Adaptor, Instructional DVD & 1 Year Warranty!
You'll also get the following airbrush makeup included:
2 – 0.55oz bottles Ultra foundation
1 – 0.25oz bottle Blush
1 – 0.25oz Skin Brightening Glow
1 – 0.25oz Moisturizer/Primer
Depending on the kit you choose, you might also receive a bronzer or more bottles of foundation.
They also offer Pro Kits for a bit more money, which also include more product!

The compressor is also available in other colors and styles. I choose pink, as you can see, and its so pretty! I LOVE how light and compact it is, making it easy to take with you anywhere.
OK, so before I get to the details I'll mention something you may have already noticed in the photos below... Unfortunately the foundations in my kit were a touch too dark/orange for my skin tone. I received shade 5 and shade 6 of the 'Ultra' airbrush foundation. Shade 5 was a decent match for my skin, but shade 6 was very orange for me. When choosing a kit, you can select your shade range... I cannot remember if I had choose the "medium" shade or the "warm" shade range... But I definitely do need to purchase a lighter shade so I can adjust the color a touch. The great thing is that you can mix the foundations to custom create a shade that is perfect for you!

I ended up using a concealer to brighten up the makeup, as well as to help conceal my dark circles and more prominent blemishes. In the photo(s) below I wanted to show you the difference between my bare face along side my face with JUST the Airbrush Foundation (shade 5) and then the difference when using a concealer first (Urban Decay naked skin concealer 'light/warm') AND the Airbrush Foundation. While the airbrush foundation alone does a pretty great job at concealing my "imperfections" and evening out my skin, I definitely require a little extra coverage from a concealer. Luminess Air does have concealers available, but I was just going with what I had received along side what I had on hand.
Now, these next photos below show a side by side of my bare face (before) and (after) using all of the airbrush makeup provided in my kit; The Primer, Foundation, Blush and Brightening Glow (+ my concealer too).  The results? Practically flawless makeup application that is light-weight, long wearing and absolutely fabulous!
To complete my makeup I did set my concealer (under my eyes) with powder as well as added a slight touch of contour powder (on my nose & hollows of my cheeks). Other than that, I left the airbrush makeup alone to see how well it would wear on its own. And I am thrilled to report that the makeup held up extremely well. By the end of the night, I could barely notice, but there was some very slight fading of my makeup. Probably from sweating and touching/wiping my face... It was a very hot day and I was outside in the heat for a few hours. Yet, for the most part my makeup still looked great at the end of the day! What impressed me most was that everything on my face still looked very even! Whereas other foundations would typically breakup (around my T-Zone) this one didn't at all! Very impressive. The blush also looked just as vibrant as when I first applied.
Now, aside from me picking out the wrong shade of foundation, and needing to use a concealer there was only ONE other thing that I'd say was an "negative" issue about using the airbrush system. And that would be that it kind of accentuated the larger pores on the side of my nose. What I noticed is that because it applies the foundation as a layer sprayed over your skin - it doesn't "fill in" your pores. If you use a regular liquid or cream foundation (whether its meant to be a pore-filler or not) product will still fill into your pores and they become (for the most part) less noticeable. With this though, I could just see (more clearly) open holes on the side of my nose where the foundation couldnt cover/fill in. And it wasn't attractive!!

With that being said, it was JUST on my nose that I had this issue. Maybe because the skin on my nose is a little bit different than the skin on the rest of my face. haha (does that make sense?) Anyways... Everywhere else the airbrush makeup looked amazing! And the good thing is it was an easy fix. I simply used a tiny bit of the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer on my nose and didnt have any pore issues after that.

On that note, I wanted to mention that I discovered Luminess Air has several "airbrush essentials" that I believe would benefit the little issues I had concerning my pores and dark circles! One is called Eraser which is meant to "erase" large pores along with redness/blotchy skin. The other is called X-Out which is a concealer specifically for dark circles and tired eyes! Lastly another item that I think is just a good idea overall is the Water-Proof Makeup Sealant for serious staying power (water-proof, sweat -proof and tear-proof) 18 Hour wear!! These are items that are going on my Must Buy List when I purchase a lighter foundation shade.

When I do get a lighter shade, I am thinking I'd love to film a demo video showing how the airbrush works, so you all can really see it in action! Let me know if you would be interested in that. :) Well, that about wraps it up, hope you all enjoyed this review! Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. And if you are really familiar with airbrush makeup, I'd love to hear about your experience and any tips you might have to share. ♥

p.s. If you are interested in trying this - I have a special discount code - 639300142 - that will save you 20%!

Mia Adora Fiber Lash Mascara Review + Discount

**Thank You to Amani Pure/Mia Adora for sponsoring this post and a huge thank you to you all for supporting the sponsors that make Agape Love Designs possible. Some items were provided for consideration. All thoughts, tips and opinions are my own.**
Hello Beauties, thanks so much for joining me today! Well as you can see, I've got a review to share with you on the Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. I know that when it comes to "3D Fiber Lash Mascaras" - people either love it or absolutely hate it! If you're someone who isnt a fan, I hope you'll still enjoy my review and find it helpful. Now, if you are someone who loves it, or has been wanting to try it, then I definitely recommend Mia Adora. Its just $17.95 (a much more reasonable price when compared to other brands) and I was even given a special discount code for you: agapelove15 which I assume will give you an additional 15% off. ♥ (code is valid until August 2016)

When it comes to "love it" or "hate it"... I actually fall right in-between. This mascara isnt my favorite, but I do like it! Its a marvelous idea for adding dramatic length and volume to your lashes, however I do find it can be tricky if you don't want to end up with "spider lashes". Unless you like that look, which is totally cool. We all have our own preferences, and that is what is awesome about makeup! There are many options and products for everyone's style. As for me, I prefer my lashes to look long, separated and more defined. To get that with this particular mascara, it does take some practice and getting used to.
For example, the photo above was my most recent application of this mascara and I am pretty pleased with the outcome. This is 3 coats of the Mascara. Meaning I applied the fibers and sealed with the magnifying gel 3 separate times. I know its hard to tell (this close up, they still look kind of short) but this actually gave me pretty dramatic length! And yet its not as much of a "spidery" mess as my previous attempts (pictured below) with the mascara. So as I said, once you get used to applying this kind of mascara you can definitely get gorgeous dramatic lashes that aren't "full on Monet". ;)
Ok so, for my previous attempts with this mascara you can clearly see there is a nice difference between my lashes with a couple coats of regular mascara and then a couple coats of Mia Adora Fiber Lash Mascara! The issue for me came when I wanted to go for a more dramatic difference and attempted to apply a couple more coats of the fiber mascara. I think it was just a bad lash day though, some days my lashes cooperate, other days they just look bad! Anyways, I couldn't quite get an even application of the fibers on all of my lashes, and then some of my lashes started to clump. :( Which is when you get the "Monet" effect. haha
In my opinion, from a regular distance my lashes don't look too bad. In fact I actually like how long and dramatic they look in both photos wearing Mia Adora vs. regular mascara. And even though the application of the 4 coats of the mascara wasn't the best, I still like the dramatic length it gave and the fact that I kind of like a sweet little dolly. haha
So yeah, an extreme close up may look a little chaotic until you get some more practice with it, but the over all effect can be pretty awesome. And something else that I think is wonderful about this mascara is that it's made with natural ingredients "that conditions and nourishes your eyelashes" made with 100% Green Tea. Plus it's Paraben and SLS Free (and cruelty free too). ♥

If you'd like to purchase or get more information on the Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, find it {here} on amazon. Don't forget you can use my code agapelove15 for a discount. Hope you enjoyed my review, and let me know if you have any questions! :)

Makeup Storage & Organizers!

Hey beauty babes and welcome! If you are one of my subscribers on Youtube or follow me on snapchat you might already know this, but for those who don't know... A few months back my husband transformed one of the rooms in our home into an office/makeup room for me work and film in. While he did an amazing job getting this office ready for me - I on the other hand have been slacking on fully getting it decorated and organized! To be fair, I have been swamped with a lot of work so fixing up my office has been something I do a little at a time when I can. One day (hopefully soon) it will be complete and I will do a nice reveal and room tour! But until then, here is a small peek at one little section of the room that I have gotten a little organized....
I know two little shelves isnt much, but I am pretty proud of the small progress and just love how pretty and organized everything looks (at least in this spot). ;) Aside from being busy, another factor that has somewhat slowed my office organization progress down is finding affordable items and ways to store, display and organize my makeup collection! Acrylic Organizers aren't cheap! But if you shop around, you can find some good deals. Here is a little break down of the storage/organizers, Price and where to buy!

-Mercury Glass Votives (Better Home & Gardens Brand): $1 each found at Dollar Tree
-Acrylic Makeup/Jewelry Organizer w/drawers: $19.99 c/o Ohuhu on Amazon
-Metal Letter Holder (used for my palettes): $10 found at Ross
-Tiered Plastic Lipstick Holder: $3.69 each on Amazon
-Lip Print Cups: $1 Each found at Dollar Tree (These were clear glass cups, which I added glitter to! See the "how-to" here)
-Long Acrylic Lipstick/Makeup holder: $10 found at Ross
-Heart Shaped Ring Dishes: $32 for the set via Promise Pottery (these were actually purchased a few years ago, but I still love them!)
-Clear Glass (candle) Holders: $1 each found at Dollar Tree

As you can see I found a lot of great items that I re-purposed from the Dollar Tree, love that store! And then Ross is another great store for affordable finds, I was very glad to see they now have some acrylic organizers. Then of course Amazon has been a great place to find some affordable storage/organizers too. I am so thankful for this decent sized organizer I received c/o Ohuhu! Its very sturdy and is a good price.
I love that it includes various sized slots you can store lipsticks, palettes, compacts, liners and more.
I still have quite a bit more organizing and decorating to do, and I cant wait until I can show you all more! But for now this is just a little peek into my office and makeup collection. I am still going to need to purchase a few more storage/organizer items, or get more crafty and creative to make some. I'd love some inspiration, so if you have any tips, suggestions or pinterest pins of ideas or affordable items - please let me know! ♥

HaloSpa Advanced Cleansing Facial Brush Review & Demo

*FTC Disclaimer Thank you to Be Natural Organics for sponsoring this post!
Hello Beauty Babes! Today I've got a review and (video) demo to share with you of the HaloSpa Advanced Cleansing Facial Brush that I received c/o Be Natural Organics! This water-resistant, cordless brush actually comes with 4 different attachments to help deeply cleanse, exfoliate, remove "stubborn debris", while also helping to "minimize the appearance of large pores and fine lines"! The whole set comes packed nicely in a sturdy cardboard box with a plastic insert that keeps each piece separated. I have kept the box as its perfect to keep the set organized and clutter free.
Now before I get to the price, let me tell you a little bit about the HaloSpa. As I already mentioned the it includes four attachments! You get a small exfoliating brush for the face and a large brush for the body. It also includes a sponge brush that aids in the absorption of moisturizers and serums, and then a pumice stone which is ideal for treating callouses on your elbows or feet.

The unit requires 4 AA batteries to run, and its recommended that brushes be replaced every 2-3 months. The brush replacements are very affordable though. Which brings me back to the price of the HaloSpa Cleansing System... Can you believe that its ONLY $38.00!? When I first discovered the price I was blown away! Most facial cleansing brushes are very expensive (at least for my wallet)! ;) So I was happily surprised to be able to share this affordable option with all of you. ♥

In addition to the HaloSpa system, I did also receive Be Natural Organics Anti-Aging Trial Collection....
They have a few different types of skin care collections, but this one specifically is meant for those 25+. Now I have only been using these products for just under two weeks, since I had been trying out another skincare system previously. But so far I am really enjoying them along with the HaloSpa! And I must say I love that these products are natural and organic. I always notice my skin does extremely well with natural skin care systems. Anyways, you will see me also using these products in my video demo (at the bottom of this post). But I thought I would include a little more info about them, for those of you interested!

Be Natural Organics uses medical grade oils and USDA-certified organic ingredients that are "pure and potent" to "provide high-performance skin care products that deliver visible results." This specific collection is, of course, meant to "slow the signs of aging" with promise of the following Skin Benefits:
-Diminish fine lines and wrinkles
-repair UV damage
-lighten skin discolorations
-improve skins tone and texture
-create a smooth, more refined surface

My overall thoughts on all of these products is literally "Wow". I am in love. The HaloSpa honestly makes my skin care routine fun! Where before I found it to be a mundane necessary thing I had to do, I now look forward to cleansing my skin day and night. Its quick and easy to use as well as relaxing too. I also absolutely using the sponge attachment with my moisturizers and serums. And here is a fun little tid-bit for you... Even my husband, who cares nothing for skin care, was intrigued by the HaloSpa and later told me he had used it and really enjoyed it! :)

Now, if you would like to see both the HaloSpa and the Anti-Aging skin care collection in action be sure to watch my video below!
