Hello Beauties, thanks so much for joining me today! Well as you can see, I've got a review to share with you on the Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. I know that when it comes to "3D Fiber Lash Mascaras" - people either love it or absolutely hate it! If you're someone who isnt a fan, I hope you'll still enjoy my review and find it helpful. Now, if you are someone who loves it, or has been wanting to try it, then I definitely recommend Mia Adora. Its just $17.95 (a much more reasonable price when compared to other brands) and I was even given a special discount code for you: agapelove15 which I assume will give you an additional 15% off. ♥ (code is valid until August 2016)

When it comes to "love it" or "hate it"... I actually fall right in-between. This mascara isnt my favorite, but I do like it! Its a marvelous idea for adding dramatic length and volume to your lashes, however I do find it can be tricky if you don't want to end up with "spider lashes". Unless you like that look, which is totally cool. We all have our own preferences, and that is what is awesome about makeup! There are many options and products for everyone's style. As for me, I prefer my lashes to look long, separated and more defined. To get that with this particular mascara, it does take some practice and getting used to.
For example, the photo above was my most recent application of this mascara and I am pretty pleased with the outcome. This is 3 coats of the Mascara. Meaning I applied the fibers and sealed with the magnifying gel 3 separate times. I know its hard to tell (this close up, they still look kind of short) but this actually gave me pretty dramatic length! And yet its not as much of a "spidery" mess as my previous attempts (pictured below) with the mascara. So as I said, once you get used to applying this kind of mascara you can definitely get gorgeous dramatic lashes that aren't "full on Monet". ;)
Ok so, for my previous attempts with this mascara you can clearly see there is a nice difference between my lashes with a couple coats of regular mascara and then a couple coats of Mia Adora Fiber Lash Mascara! The issue for me came when I wanted to go for a more dramatic difference and attempted to apply a couple more coats of the fiber mascara. I think it was just a bad lash day though, some days my lashes cooperate, other days they just look bad! Anyways, I couldn't quite get an even application of the fibers on all of my lashes, and then some of my lashes started to clump. :( Which is when you get the "Monet" effect. haha
In my opinion, from a regular distance my lashes don't look too bad. In fact I actually like how long and dramatic they look in both photos wearing Mia Adora vs. regular mascara. And even though the application of the 4 coats of the mascara wasn't the best, I still like the dramatic length it gave and the fact that I kind of like a sweet little dolly. haha
So yeah, an extreme close up may look a little chaotic until you get some more practice with it, but the over all effect can be pretty awesome. And something else that I think is wonderful about this mascara is that it's made with natural ingredients "that conditions and nourishes your eyelashes" made with 100% Green Tea. Plus it's Paraben and SLS Free (and cruelty free too). ♥

  2. I love the packaging for this, if I liked Fibre mascara's then I would probably be sucked in by that alone- but alas my eyes do not agree with them.
Your lashes look lovely on the picture with 2 coats.

  3. Love the Clueless references LOL! I agree, the lashes are a bit spidery, but the volume is great and the end result is really dramatic! I also really love the packaging!

  4. I've tried a couple of fiber mascaras, but the fibers always end up falling into my eye and it makes my eyes so red (I guess that's one of many short lash problems haha). I think this makes your lashes look fantastic, but by 4 coats it does start to get spidery.
