Hello beauties and welcome! Today I am excited to tell you about my experience with some incredible hair extensions I received c/o Irresistible Me. ♥ Irresistible Me is a growing brand of 100% natural Remy clip-in hair extensions, hair accessories and hair tools, but they specializes in high quality extensions at great prices! I was beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to try their hair extensions, because I have been growing my hair out for some time now, and while its long - I still desire more length! I LOVE the look of dramatically long, voluminous hair. And of course I can have that any time now, with these beautiful extensions!
Irresistible Me offers two types of hair extensions: Silky Touch and Royal Remy. I'll share more info on each type later in this post. The set I chose to get was the Royal Remy 24 Inch 200g set which includes (10 pieces) - 1 pc of 4 clips (7.5"), 2 pcs of 3 clips (6"), 5 pcs of 2 clips (4"), 2 pcs of 1 clip (1.2"). The color I decided on is called Rosewood. Watch (this video) to see all the colors they have to offer!
Now some of you may be wondering why I choose this lovely Burgundy color when my hair is Black!? Well, the answer is that I have been slowly trying (meaning without having to bleach it or strip the black out) to get all of my hair this burgundy shade. I do already have a few sections of my hair dyed burgundy in the mix of my black... So I knew that if I wanted to use these as long as possible, rosewood would be the best color for me to pick. Also, because these extensions are made from 100% Human Indian Remy hair I can always dye them black (or another color) if I wanted to! And while they are not a color match for my hair currently, I must admit I still LOVE the look of them in the mix with my black hair! ♥
Now before I get to the details of both types of hair extensions, Ive got to tell you about how they are packaged. They are sent in an adorable black box, and packaged in a clear bag with two sections. The idea is to ONLY open the smaller section first to make sure the color, length and quality is a match for what you desire. If it is and you are happy with it, then open the larger section and put them to use! ;) If NOT, then do not open the second section, this way you can either make an exchange or return for refund. I find that to be a very smart idea, since it can be hard to know true color and quality of a product online.
So about the two types of hair extensions (according to their website)
Silky Touch is their best-selling line made with 100% human Remy hair. These hair extensions are amazing quality for a friendly price and can be very easily styled, cut, colored and curled to blend in your hair perfectly. The thickness of the hair decreases very slightly towards the ends just like normal hair does which will provide a completely natural look while wearing them. Offering fantastic value for the money, the Silky Touch clip in hair extensions are perfect for anybody who loves adding a bit of volume and/or length to their hair occasionally or for special events. If you’re just starting with hair extensions and you want something that’s great quality, the Silky Touch clip in hair extensions are the way to go.
Royal Remy is their premium line made with 100% human Remy hair. They use top of the line hair that is colored to one of the 12 colors available at Irresistible Me. Additionally, a special treatment unique to Irresistible Me is added for extra silkiness and durability. The thickness of the hair is amazing – almost the same from the top to the bottom of the weft which will provide a lot of body and bounce while wearing the extensions. This line is also very easy to blend with your own hair and can be very easily styled, cut, colored and curled. Ultimately, the Royal Remy hair will last longer and is the closest match you can find to completely unprocessed hair. If you’re looking for longevity and volume, the Royal Remy line is the best choice you could make.

Here is my before photo! Look at the gorgeous length! By the way, if you are curious about what length you should choose, this pin is very helpful! When I originally picked the extension length of 24" my hair was about at the 22" mark. And between the time that I had picked my extensions and the time they arrived I had trimmed my hair. Sadly, I trim my own hair and had a mishap - and ended up cutting off about two inches! Which is more than I had meant too. :( ANYWAYS, as you can tell my hair is naturally wavy and the extensions are mostly straight. So I decided to straighten all of my hair + the extensions after putting them in my hair. And here is the result... I absolutely LOVE the way they look. ♥ I want to do a "follow-up" post showing how they look curled in my hair too!
Here is a full view, to give you a better idea of how they look on me. ♥ Everyone who saw my hair was just as much in awe of it as I was! I can hardly wait until I have my hair completely this one solid color, but again I LOVE the mix of the black and burgundy quite a bit too. :) What do you think?
Over all I am beyond impressed with these fabulous extensions. Not only is the quality amazing - the wefts are very durable, but they are very light weight and easy to wear too. And again - the fact that they are real human hair (rather than synthetic) makes them perfect for styling and coloring as you would your own hair. I very much so recommend them!

DeleteExtensions are such a fun way of changing up your hair temporarily -- both in length and color. But I like it most for color --- black and burgundy is such an awesome mix and looks fabulous on you!! :-D
