Get The Look | Bold Smokey Eye | TooFaced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette

Hello Beauty Babes - and welcome (back) to my blog! Today I have a new Get The Look video tutorial to share with you, featuring the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette! ♥ Now as many of you probably already know, this palette has not yet been released for purchase yet - it will release on December 8th. I happen to win this palette early - seriously so beyond excited about that. Anywho - if you missed my previous post - check it out here - it has all the info on how/where I won it, as well as my first impressions on the palette, plus photo and video swatches.
So my inspiration for this look came from another look I did a while back (seen here) featuring the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I never did a video tutorial for it, even though I planned to. And it had been requested by a few people to see a tutorial on the look. So I figured why not try to create the same type of look using this new chocolate palette? Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. So, of course, the shadow colors are different, but the techniques I used to create the original look are the same ones I used to re-create it for this look. ♥ This is a very dramatic, intense and bold look! I know it looks intimidating - its not for the day-to-day, or those afraid of makeup.

However it can be toned down a touch, just adjust it to your own personal preference! If you dont want to add that little cat line to the lower lash line, then skip it! I personally think I could have done mine a touch shorter/smaller. But all in all I love the look - and my only real regret is not using bolder lashes to complete the look! I love the ones I am wearing, but I feel like they get lost against this smoked out look. Oh well, live and learn. ;)  ALSO - I am sure this look seems super complicated, but I promise you its actually pretty easy to do! I, for one, have a harder time creating winged liner on my lids, than creating this lower lash line kind of cat eye. Anyways, just watch the tutorial and see for yourself - I know you can do it!
