Shrink Your Pores! Does It Really Work? #StriveStory

Ok beauties - today I want to talk about Pores. Enlarged pores to be exact. While we ALL have pores, some of us may suffer with larger more noticeable pores than others. Me, well Ive had pretty good skin most of my life. However I have noticed my skin changing so much and not always for the better - I swear, I hit 30 years old and suddenly my body has it out against me. I started getting gray hair - GRAY hair! My eye lids have become more hooded, my skin is a lot more sensitive and prone to stress acne, and my pores - well they suddenly became a lot more noticeable - or so it seemed sudden to me.

Luckily there are solutions for most of those things... I dye my hair - I have for years, because I love changing it up. But now its less for "fun" and more to conceal the grays! haha I also get really excited about eye creams, and thankfully there are many wonderful products for acne. But my pores... Is it really possible to do anything about enlarged pores? I am a skeptic when I comes to (expensive) products that promise "miracles" in skin care, but I am also a hopeful about them too. That was my mindset when I got the opportunity to try this Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner courtesy of StriVectin and iFabo*.

The product is a "lightweight daily pore-minimizing lotion and anti aging moisturizer with Retinol that claims to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores and refine texture for a smooth, even complexion, and deliver both instant and long-term visible pore reduction." The lotion is definitely a great light weight yet rich product that absorbs quickly and easily into the skin, while leaving you with soft moisturized skin. It has a slight perfume smell that I cant quite describe, but its not overwhelming and I find it pleasant. Which says a lot because I am very picky when it comes to scents in general.

This Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner is $99 for 1.7 OZ. And while I understand that skin care products are expensive, I personally and not willing (and lets be honest - not able) to afford such a luxury - without knowing first if it really works or not. So if you are like me and want to know for sure if this product works, before you decide to buy, I am thankful for the opportunity to not only tell you - but SHOW you my personal results.

Below are two photos of extreme HD close ups of my skin. Before and after 4 weeks of use. These photos are of my cheek area, right next to my nose, where my pores are the most enlarged and apparent. I cant tell you how intimidating it is to take such close ups of my skin - knowing I would be posting them online for the "world" to see. YIKES! But I figured it would be worth it and the most helpful for both myself and for you to really see the results. As you can tell, there is definitely a good improvement in the size of my pores, as well as the texture of my skin in general.

As noted, these results are after just 4 weeks of use. Also to note, I used the StriVectin Pore Refiner twice a day (as recommended). While my pores look a lot better, I am excited to see how they look with continued use in another 4 weeks. ♥ So, to answer the question - Does it really work!? - I am excited to report that ... Yes, Yes it does!
