Hey Beauty Babes, thanks for visiting today! I am back with another makeup look to inspire you! This is a look that is slightly out of my comfort zone, as I don't typically like to wear blue. Ive said it before, but I will say it again - blue tones just seem to mute out my eye color rather than make them pop. Still I think blue shadows are SO gorgeous and I don't want to rule them out completely. So to try something different, I decided to pair a gorgeous turquoise blue shade with a shade that I absolutely LOVE to wear - Burgundy. ♥ And while I am still not a major fan of blue for my eyes, I think the look itself turned out beautifully! ♥ Keep reading for all the details.
If you are subscribed to my Youtube Channel or follow me on snapchat you may have seen that I received an amazing package from Urban Decay! I will be doing a detailed video unboxing with swatches of all the products I got, as well as a look featuring all UD products soon too, so stay tuned for that. But I just could not wait to try out their Heavy Metal Glitter Liners! As you can clearly see, I used one in this look today. These glitter liners are so neat and a convenient, mess-free way to add a touch of glitter to your look! Whether you want to add a glitter to your lower lash line, inner corner high light, winged liner... Or add a little pizzazz to your entire lid like I did - these glitter liners are perfect! I am already obsessed. ♥

Sometimes we can get stuck in a rut doing the same look over and over, and never stepping out of our "color box". I know - I do that all too often! So its nice to try new things, go for looks or colors we may not initially choose and just see what happens! As a beauty blogger its important to me to step out of my beauty comfort zone and color box and try new things - so I can inspire others! So I hope enjoy and do feel inspired!!
Let me know what you think - Hopefully you enjoyed this look inspiration - and maybe try it for yourself! If you do - please feel free to share. I'd love to see your looks too. Share with me via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag #AgapeLoveGirlLooks or if you share it on your blog - leave a link to it in the comments. Or even better - link it up to Makeup Monday! ♥

DeleteI think blue looks great on you! Burgundy is SO hard to pull off. My eyes are always red so I don't think this would be a good colour for me :P Love this look - reminds me of a Caribbean sunset!
ReplyDeleteWell thank you so much! ♥ Burgundy is a hard shade to pull off for most. Pinks, purples and reds can sometimes make one look sick! They are tricky for sure, but I just love how they pull the green out in my eyes!
DeleteLove your eye makeup look! Happy New Year's to you!
