Longer Lash Growth Solution | Review & Giveaway

Hey beauty babes and welcome! Today Ive got quite the doozy to share with you - review, results, a giveaway and a discount code for you. Oh My! ;) I was recently sent some natural eyelash growth serum called Longer Lash from Green Esthetics! According to the website - Longer Lash is blended with a mix of potent polypeptides, vitamins, minerals, plus essential and natural oils to condition your eyelashes and brows encouraging growth and thickness. Longer Lash's ingredients do not contain parabens, fragrance, phenoxyethanol or propylene glycol. And you are supposed to see results in 4-6 weeks.

I have been using Longer Lash for just over 6 weeks now, (result photos taken at 6 weeks) and as you can see the results are good. I wouldn't say that my lashes are miraculously longer, though you can see that they have grown a bit in length, which I am pleased with. However I am more so impressed and pleased with the growth in thickness! If you look at the before and after photos below, you can see how sparse my lashes were before and just how much fuller my lashes look now. Take an even closer look and you can actually see new hairs sprouting too! ♥
Its very quick and simple to use Longer Lash. You are just going to apply it to the base of the upper eyelashes using the applicator brush. Your eyes should be free of any make-up or creams and be completely clean before applying. Longer Lash can be applied once or twice daily. Make-up may be applied after 3-5 minutes once Longer Lash has completely dried and had a chance to absorb into the skin.

I only applied the product once a day - after night after washing my face. Something to note is that the product does NOT sting or irritate the skin on your eyelids at all - at least it didn't to mine. HOWEVER, if you happen to get some in your eyes it WILL sting. I had a little accident and got some in my eye and it was pretty irritated, but only for a couple of minutes. Nothing too serious, still I wanted you to know! I know this is a product that goes on VERY close to the eyes, still I would avoid actual eye contact.
Alright babes, lets get down to it... This product as you may have guessed it a bit pricey. Many lash serums come with a high price tag, and this one coming in at $69.95 is no different. Fortunately, though, Green Esthetics has generously given me a 40% off discount code (GREEN40) for you to use & I believe that also includes FREE Shipping!! You can use that code for ANY of their products too. YAY - thats a nice discount, so be sure to take advantage of it! The code does expire on Febuary 29th (2016).

Now in addition to that generous discount, they also wanted to sponsor a giveaway for you! SO one lucky entrant will have a chance to try Longer Lash absolutely free! And guess what? This giveaway is INTERNATIONAL too. ♥

Live Swatches | MBA Cosmetics Molten Metals Collection

Hello beauty babes and welcome! Today I have some photo and "live" swatches to share with you of the MBA Cosmetics Molten Metals Collection! Molten Metals are true metallic shadows and they are STUNNING!! You can purchase these shadows individually for $5 each or the entire collection for just $20! Of course if you want to use my affiliate code AGAPELOVE15 you will save 15% on them too! ♥

I was inspired to do these single swatches on my eyes, because just about every one of the MBA Shadows are pictured on a model's eye, except for the Molten Metals Collection. SO I figured it would be helpful to showcase them individually on an eye so you can see just how they look being worn! In addition to that, because these are true metallic shadows (or at least I assume this is the reason) a few of them kind of shift from their color to a more rusty look once blended out - like Smolder. You can see how it shifts shades when its blended out as opposed to just being patted on. Which I think is really cool!

A few things to note: I am NOT using any primer with these shadows. While I do suggest you do use a primer with them (for longevity), I wanted to show you how beautifully these apply on their own! They almost look wet or foiled without any help! They are amazing! When you do use a primer or especially a foiling serum (like this one) they will even more intense and gorgeous. They also apply so smooth - like butter. ♥ That' another thing that I love about them. If you watch the video for the live swatches you will be able to see just how smooth and easy they glide on.

Like I said, I am not using a primer with these, so all I am wearing before applying is foundation and setting powder. Still you can see how gorgeous these look. The only one I had trouble with was the shade Coppermine - you can see that swatch looks a little patchy. And that was simply because I applied too much setting powder to my lid before doing that swatch. Even still it looks stunning. And this is the mascara I'm using for anyone curious.  Alright... Lets get to the swatches!

Aged Gold (one of my favorites!)

Burnished! Such a gorgeous shade - a possible shade match "dupe" for CP Telepathy.

Coppermine

Gold Olive! Another fave of mine as well as another possible shade match "dupe" for CP Telepathy.

Milk Chocolate. This one looks a lot darker before its applied.

Smolder! This one is a major favorite! LOVE the color of this when its simply patted on. Blended out it become more or an orange/copper shade.

Watch to see the LIVE swatches? I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch my video!
Let me know what you think of this collection.
Remember when you use my code AGAPELOVE15
You can save 15% on these shadows and anything else from the MBA Cosmetics website! ♥

Your Beauty Is Not Defined By Your Weight.

Hey beauties, today I just wanted to share a recent video I posted on my youtube channel on an important topic that has been on my heart for a while now. For those who are not subscribed to my youtube channel, I have a series over there that I have titles "Naked Vlogs". I go into more detail about what Naked Vlogs are in the video - so I wont go write too much detail here.. But basically the idea behind "naked" vlogs is that I vlog with a bare face - no makeup - to just sit and speak about topics that go beyond the surface of or outward appearance of beauty. Being that I am a Beauty Blogger, you really only see me all made up. So, I wanted you all to see me raw before you talking about topics that deal more with inward beauty.

For this specific Vlog the topic is concerning beauty and weight. I found myself really needing the reminder that my weight doesn't define my beauty. With it being the New Year and more than likely many people making resolutions to loose weight (which is not a bad thing) I just thought this would actually be the perfect topic for one of my Naked Vlogs. I figured this would not only be a good reminder for myself, but to others as well. And serve as a great "Public Service Announcement" of sorts. ;) So I hope you will watch, be encouraged and feel free to share your story, start a conversation or reach out to me if you need to!

Lastly, I just wanted to leave you with this Printable of the Bible Verse I mentioned in this video. (via)

Bitter.Lace.Beauty Highlights | Photo & Video Swatches

Hey beauty babes, I am so glad you are here! Today, I have some really unique and wonderful Highlights show tell you about. They come from a wonderful little etsy shop called Bitter Lace Beauty! If you watch my Mailbox Monday videos on my youtube channel or follow me on Instagram you may recognize this shop already. As I have featured it a few times already! You all know how much I love to support small business, so when I discovered this little gem, I couldn't help but share. ♥ I first fell in love with Bitter Lace Beauty's amazing handmade magnetic makeup palettes! Jenna - the beauty behind the biz makes fabulous wooden magnetic palettes that are amazing. She also offers custom designs too - pictured below is a custom design I had ordered. To my pleasant surprise, when I got my palette she had thrown in a complimentary highlight! ♥ And that's when I fell head over heels in LOVE with her highlights! The colors are unique and stunning and the quality is just top notch. I swear you will fall in love with them too. ;)
After featuring the highlight 'Royalty' (pictured above) that she had sent me, several people had messaged Jenna about discovering her highlights from me! Which was so exciting here, so she had asked if I'd be willing to try out and feature the rest of her highlight - to which of course I said yes! So she sent me her 2015 highlight collection! So I've NINE highlights to show off! As you can see here I've got a couple photo swatches below - but I encourage you to watch the video at the end of this post so you can see the "live" swatches of all 9 highlight! I demo all of the highlights on my cheeks, so you can see the true beauty of these unique and beautiful highlights! ♥

Pictured below I am wearing one the LE Fall Highlight in 'Sweater Weather'. This one is my absolute favorite! Its a unique peachy bronze highlight with an extreme gold shift that includes sparks of red, green and copper! Its beyond stunning - the camera will never do it justice.

One unique thing about these highlights is the fun and beautiful designs she impresses on them! Check out this one below called 'Amuck' named in honor of Hocus Pocus! This is another LE highlight - created during October/Halloween as you may have guessed! ;) This one is a dusty lilac with a slight green shift with sparks of purple, blue, and gold. A truly unique color! ♥

The next two photos feature the highlight 'Enchanted', which is a pearly white iridescent rainbow shade.
Here are each of the highlights (3 of the pans feature 2 shades each side by side)

First Pan contains:
Enchanted -white and swatched above and Curiouser -Teal swatched in the next few photos

Second Pan contains:
New Sea Shells - a Mermaid Purple shade and True Loves Kiss  - a pinky-nude shade

Third Pan contains:
Gleam & Glow - a gorgeous Rose Gold shade and Royalty - a yellow gold

The last 3 pans are single shades, these are the Limited Edition Holiday Highlights!
♥Amuck - pictured and described above
♥Sweater Weather - swatched and described above
♥Let It Glow - an icy intense silver with a high shine blue veining that shifts to a slight purple.

As mentioned... Below I am wearing the highlight 'Curiouser'. Curiouser is one of the more unique highlights, being that its a teal blue shade! While its not a typical shade you may consider for a highlight, its actually quite stunning and pairs well with the mauve pink blush I am wearing, and subtle eye look!

Which btw if anyone is curious - I am wearing Milani's Rose Blush in Romantic Rose and Urban Decay's glitter liner in ACDC, their Subversion primer & Perversion Mascara
Alrightly - now lets get to the video! If you have the time, I definitely encourage you to and see ALL of the swatches. Also I wanted to mention some GOOD NEWS! I mention in the video that I thought the 2015 collection of highlights would be gone for good, because Jenna has come out with a whole NEW line of highlights for 2016! However, I recently talked to her and was informed that she will actually be restocking ALL the 2015 highlights PLUS the new ones! So you will STILL be able to get the ones featured here! The only exception would be the LE shades of course - thought at the moment both Sweather Weather and Let it Glow have not sold out yet. SO if you want them, get your hands on them now before they are gone for good. ♥
