Intense Gaze | Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Makeup

*This Post Contains Affiliate Links*
Hello beauties and welcome! Today I am back with some makeup inspiration featuring an older palette in my collection - the Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture | World Traveler Palette. ♥ Now that its Spring and there is all kinds of new Spring Makeup Collections being released... I have been trying to "Shop my collection", to keep myself from purchasing anything new. ;) Anyone else?

Anyways,  I really enjoy the ABH shadows. I especiall love when they come out with these LE palettes, which are always so worth it to buy when the come out. You get 12 shadows for just $30 - which is a steal. If you don't have this palette you can still find many of these as single eyeshadows available at Sephora or Ulta. And thats great if you are looking to re-create a similar look, the only downside is that they are a bit more expensive when purchased as singles!
For this look I was kind of going for a soft and romantic, yet subtly dramatic Spring look. Maybe that's an oxymoron... HAHA But I think it fits. The colors are soft, pretty and romantic. And though the overall look is a little more dramatic than they typical every day eye look, I feel that using mascara rather than applying false lashes keeps the look from being too dramatic. Its a subtle drama. ;) If that makes sense to anyone else but me? Also going for a soft pinky-nude lip also helps keep the drama in check as well... Keeping this look softer and very romantic. ♥ What do you think?

Happy First Day of Spring beauties! Today I am just popping in to share a fun Spring Collaboration I was a part of with a few other MBA Cosmetics Beauties. I just love how everyone's looks turned out. So bright and colorful and fun. Don't you think? Looking at the collage above just makes me happy. ♥

As you may have already guessed it, everyone used all MBA Cosmetics Products for their looks. I encourage you to visit each of the other girls in the collaboration - give them a comment, follow their pages if you like what you see and get all the info on the looks they created. Listed below is each person in order as seen in the collage.

For my spring look I went for a floral lip art.
I am not that talented with small details.. So the flowers are actually nails decals from Born Pretty Store. ♥

The rest of the products are from MBA Cosmetics...
-Color Rich Lipstick in Aquatic
-Cosmetic Glitters in Cozumel & Amethyst Moon
-Faux Septum Fame & Fortune-Silver

Remember MBA Cosmetics Ships world wide and you can use my code AGAPELOVE15 to save 15% on your orders!

And just for fun - here is a "behind the scenes" look at myself when I am creating lip art!! haha Yup - completely bare faced except for my lips. I even only apply foundation just to the skin surrounding my lips and on my nose. ;) Not as glamorous as the lip art itself! haha

Happy Spring Beauties!!

*This Post Contains Affiliate Links*
Hey beauty babes thank you so much for visiting with me today! Well I am on a roll this week with posts and makeup looks!! ♥ I am back with another makeup look to share with you - but this one also has a video to go along with it! (Video at the bottom of this post). Most of the looks I create and film tutorials for are always planned, but this one is a bit different. I have recently acquired quite a few new makeup products that I have either purchased and/or received for review, so I decided why not just try several of them out all at once!? So that's what this looks and video is all about - its a "get ready with me" filled with several first impressions of products from Makeup Geek, Make Up For Ever and MBA Cosmetics. ♥
I really loved how the entire look came out. And this glitter is SO fun! Its another pressed glitter from MBA Cosmetics . If you saw my post yesterday (here) featuring another pressed glitter from MBA - you already know these are a fairly new product to the brand, and they are fabulous! I love how this glitter in the shade 'Mandarin' has a neat color shift to it - going from orange to yellow and green! ♥ Oh and just FYI,  if you don't already know, MBA Cosmetics ships WORLD WIDE! Woot Woot! So if you have been wanting to try anything from the brand, its available to you no matter where you live. ♥

Zenith Glitter Makeup Inspiration | MBA Cosmetics

Hello beauty babes and welcome!! Today I am back with another makeup look to share with you featuring something NEW from MBA Cosmetics. Recently they released some gorgeous Pressed Glitters, which I already have quite the collection of. ♥ They are just SO pretty and I love that they are convenient as well as a lot less messy!! If you are curious about pressed glitters I pulled this info from the site - "Pressed Glitters are not a cream and do not contain an adhesive. While the binders do help them adhere quite well, you may still wish to use a glitter adhesive for a long hold."

So while they are not a cream - they do have 'binders' that keep the glitter held together and makes them feel almost creamy and apply smoothly. You can swatch them without any kind of adhesive and they will apply right to your skin as if they were a "cream" product - but again they are just glitter binded together. They will stay on your skin without a primer or adhesive, but I agree - using an adhesive will help keep the glitter in place a lot better and longer. You might find it easier to apply these with your finger or a synthetic brush for more precise application. You may have trouble getting the glitter to apply with any other type of brush.
MBA cosmetics has about 25 pressed glitters available now, and 8 of them are really neat swirled/marbled glitters! The one I used today 'Zenith' is one of the marbled ones. Zenith looks like its a mixture of 3 other MBA glitters - Peacock (Duo-Chrome Green), Rein of the Dragon (Holographic Gold) & Pixy (Holographic Pink). So it makes for a super gorgeous and unique glitter once mixed together and applied!! I created the collage above with the extreme close ups to show you the gorgeous mix of colors! Its hard to capture just how pretty it looks in person, but I think you can get an idea. ♥

And just for fun/a bonus bit of info (because I am a nerd like that) I wanted to look up the word Zenith. I was curious of its meaning. I thought it was interesting, so I figured I would share with you...

Zenith: noun
-the highest point reached by a celestial or other object.
"the sun was well past the zenith"
-the point in the sky or celestial sphere directly above an observer.
-the time at which something is most powerful or successful.

I like the last definition the best - a time at which something is most powerful or successful. Maybe its just me, but I love learning new things and found the definition very interesting... As I had never heard of it before.

Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette Makeup Look

*This Post Contains Affiliate Links*
Hello beauty babes and welcome!! Today I have a makeup look to share with you - that some of you may have taken notice of in this post. This is a look I created using several products that are NEW to me. As stated in the title, one of those products is the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette! Now I am sure if you have been in the beauty community any amount of time you have probably heard of this palette. Its always spoken so highly of! I've been hearing about it for several years actually and finally decided I "needed" it in my life. ;) Wet n Wild is such an affordable, yet very decent quality brand from the drugstore which made adding this palette to my collection an easy choice. In addition to the Comfort Zone Palette, I also decided to try out a few other new goodies.

Recently I won a giveaway on Instagram from Bellini Cosmetics! The Prize was beautiful box filled with several of their products, take a peek at everything I got (here). So, I used a few things from my prize package in this look too. (Contour Palette, Lashes & the Lippie) Now, Bellini Beauty was a new brand to me, and is actually a Canadian Brand! So it was exciting to win and be able to give them a try. Since trying them out, I am very impressed! The quality is great and I'd recommend the brand for sure. In fact, I was doing a first impressions kind of review on my snapchat account - which turned out to be very good first impressions - so I even sent a few snaps to the brand to say thank you and let them know my thoughts. ♥ What's cool is that they then offered me a code to share with anyone who may want to try their brand as well. This isn't an affiliate code just a regular discount code, but anyways... I've got it listed below with the rest of the details of this look!
Now I did pull in a few other shadows into this eye look, because I needed a couple matte shades, which the Comfort Zone Palette doesnt have. However, the star of the show is absolutely the duo-chrome "definer" shade found in the Comfort Zone Palette. Its such a gorgeous shade, I am amazed its included in such a cheap palette. What's neat is that this shadow is actually a dupe for the Makeup Geek Shadow 'Insomnia'!! I posted a video showing them side by side on my Instagram page, here, if you wanna see for yourself!

Because I really wanted my eyes to be the star of the show in this look, I kept the rest of my face very soft and "natural". haha But I wanted to mention real quick the Bellini Cosmetics Contour Palette that I used - its fabulous! The palette itself looks very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit, which actually didnt work for me at all. So at first glance I wasn't sure if the Bellini one would work for me either. Sure enought, though, it did! I found the contour shades to be a lot more flattering (and possibly a little more universal than the ABH ones), as well they are so much more blendable and easy to use!! Definitely recommend. ♥

Alright babes, that's it for this look! I'd love to know what you think! Do you have the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette? Do you recommend any others from Wet n Wild? Also, have you ever heard of or tried Bellini Beauty Cosmetics? If so, share your experience. ♥ And if not - I encourage you to check them out!
