New Make Up For Ever #ProSculpting Lip | Swatches

Hello beauty babes and welcome! Today I'm here to tell you about something brand NEW to the Make Up For EverPro Sculpting line! These actually just released yesterday at Sephora. ♥ I am fortunate enough to be on the Make Up For Ever PR list, and received these early, among a few other items, so I could share my thoughts with you all! These are the MUFE Pro Sculpting Lip - available in 4 shades.

What it is: 

A two-in-one lip color that adds shape and volume to the lips. 

What it does: 

The Pro Sculpting Lip is a dual-ended tool that naturally creates the illusion of a fuller-looking pout using light. The opaque, semi-matte lip color features an ultra-comfortable, creamy texture that’s infused with oil to prevent moisture loss. Available in four color combinations, the other end includes an iridescent powder-to-cream highlighter that volumizes and shapes your lips. Apply the highlighter before or after the lip color for your desired level of intensity.

Now, I have only had these for about a week, but my first impressions are good. They are very creamy and pigmented yet feel very lightweight on the lips. A few times I forget I am even wearing lipstick, that's how light weight they feel. I am now sure about anyone else, but I love lipsticks like that. I am not a fan of lipsticks you can feel just sitting on your lips. 

Also they are very moisturizing for being a "semi-matte" lipstick. The day I took all these swatch photos my lips were a bit chapped. I thought to myself  "oh no, my swatches are going to look awful", but instead you could not even tell my lips even the slightest bit chapped with these lipsticks on! So that oil infusion is a great feature to these lipsticks. ♥

The only downside to these lipsticks I would say is the price - $27 is a hefty price for such a small lippie. However MUFE is a high end brand with AMAZING quality products. These lippies are no different. Plus it IS a 2-in-1 product. You get the lipstick on one end and the highlight on the other end. And because the highlight adds a touch of iridescent color, you can really change the look of the lipstick with it which you will see in my swatches below! What's neat is that each lipstick's highlight is a different shade, so even if you buy more than one you are not just getting the same highlight. So if you wanted you could buy 2 or more and mix & match the highlights with the different lipsticks for several different lipstick looks/shades!

This is shade 10 - which is a lovely rosewood pink color. Pictured above is a simple swatch of lipstick alone. Pictured below is how it looks with the peal pigment highlight over-top. ♥ As I already mentioned, each pearl pigment is a bit different. This one is a pretty iridescent crimson/rose highlight!

This is shade #11 - which is a gorgeous rusty-beige-nude-pink color.  Pictured above is a simple swatch of lipstick alone. Pictured below is how it looks with the peal pigment highlight over-top. As far as I can tell the highlight on this one is the most pearly "white". You can tell with the other highlights that I sort of reflect a certain color - this one just looks like a pearly off white.

This is shade #40 - which is a beautiful bright crimson red. Pictured above is a simple swatch of lipstick alone. Pictured below is how it looks with the peal pigment highlight over-top. This one is a pretty iridescent gold highlight.

This is shade #50 (My FAVORITE ONE)! ♥ #50 is a stunning rich wine red shade.  Pictured above is a simple swatch of lipstick alone. Pictured below is how it looks with the peal pigment highlight over-top. This one is a pretty iridescent violet highlight, which REALLY changes the look of the lipstick!
