Much Love & Hugs,
Hello beauty babes and welcome!! Today I have a makeup look to share with you - that some of you may have taken notice of in this post. This is a look I created using several products that are NEW to me. As stated in the title, one of those products is the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette! Now I am sure if you have been in the beauty community any amount of time you have probably heard of this palette. Its always spoken so highly of! I've been hearing about it for several years actually and finally decided I "needed" it in my life. ;) Wet n Wild is such an affordable, yet very decent quality brand from the drugstore which made adding this palette to my collection an easy choice. In addition to the Comfort Zone Palette, I also decided to try out a few other new goodies.
Recently I won a giveaway on Instagram from Bellini Cosmetics! The Prize was beautiful box filled with several of their products, take a peek at everything I got (here). So, I used a few things from my prize package in this look too. (Contour Palette, Lashes & the Lippie) Now, Bellini Beauty was a new brand to me, and is actually a Canadian Brand! So it was exciting to win and be able to give them a try. Since trying them out, I am very impressed! The quality is great and I'd recommend the brand for sure. In fact, I was doing a first impressions kind of review on my snapchat account - which turned out to be very good first impressions - so I even sent a few snaps to the brand to say thank you and let them know my thoughts. ♥ What's cool is that they then offered me a code to share with anyone who may want to try their brand as well. This isn't an affiliate code just a regular discount code, but anyways... I've got it listed below with the rest of the details of this look!
Now I did pull in a few other shadows into this eye look, because I needed a couple matte shades, which the Comfort Zone Palette doesnt have. However, the star of the show is absolutely the duo-chrome "definer" shade found in the Comfort Zone Palette. Its such a gorgeous shade, I am amazed its included in such a cheap palette. What's neat is that this shadow is actually a dupe for the Makeup Geek Shadow 'Insomnia'!! I posted a video showing them side by side on my Instagram page, here, if you wanna see for yourself!

Because I really wanted my eyes to be the star of the show in this look, I kept the rest of my face very soft and "natural". haha But I wanted to mention real quick the Bellini Cosmetics Contour Palette that I used - its fabulous! The palette itself looks very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit, which actually didnt work for me at all. So at first glance I wasn't sure if the Bellini one would work for me either. Sure enought, though, it did! I found the contour shades to be a lot more flattering (and possibly a little more universal than the ABH ones), as well they are so much more blendable and easy to use!! Definitely recommend. ♥
Alright babes, that's it for this look! I'd love to know what you think! Do you have the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette? Do you recommend any others from Wet n Wild? Also, have you ever heard of or tried Bellini Beauty Cosmetics? If so, share your experience. ♥ And if not - I encourage you to check them out!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that eye look is just so beautiful! I can't believe that the Wet n Wild palette had that intense of a pigmented duochrome and I love the way you paired it with that beautiful plummy color in the crease! Fantastic job :)

I love my comfort zone palette. I like to use the top left shade as a highlighter! You should try it! I don't know how it will look on your skin tone but hey it's worth a shot for such a cheap highlighter!
ReplyDeleteI love Wet n Wild palettes, they always look amazing. I wish we could get them more easily here in the UK
