Zenith Glitter Makeup Inspiration | MBA Cosmetics

Hello beauty babes and welcome!! Today I am back with another makeup look to share with you featuring something NEW from MBA Cosmetics. Recently they released some gorgeous Pressed Glitters, which I already have quite the collection of. ♥ They are just SO pretty and I love that they are convenient as well as a lot less messy!! If you are curious about pressed glitters I pulled this info from the site - "Pressed Glitters are not a cream and do not contain an adhesive. While the binders do help them adhere quite well, you may still wish to use a glitter adhesive for a long hold."

So while they are not a cream - they do have 'binders' that keep the glitter held together and makes them feel almost creamy and apply smoothly. You can swatch them without any kind of adhesive and they will apply right to your skin as if they were a "cream" product - but again they are just glitter binded together. They will stay on your skin without a primer or adhesive, but I agree - using an adhesive will help keep the glitter in place a lot better and longer. You might find it easier to apply these with your finger or a synthetic brush for more precise application. You may have trouble getting the glitter to apply with any other type of brush.
MBA cosmetics has about 25 pressed glitters available now, and 8 of them are really neat swirled/marbled glitters! The one I used today 'Zenith' is one of the marbled ones. Zenith looks like its a mixture of 3 other MBA glitters - Peacock (Duo-Chrome Green), Rein of the Dragon (Holographic Gold) & Pixy (Holographic Pink). So it makes for a super gorgeous and unique glitter once mixed together and applied!! I created the collage above with the extreme close ups to show you the gorgeous mix of colors! Its hard to capture just how pretty it looks in person, but I think you can get an idea. ♥

And just for fun/a bonus bit of info (because I am a nerd like that) I wanted to look up the word Zenith. I was curious of its meaning. I thought it was interesting, so I figured I would share with you...

Zenith: noun
-the highest point reached by a celestial or other object.
"the sun was well past the zenith"
-the point in the sky or celestial sphere directly above an observer.
-the time at which something is most powerful or successful.

I like the last definition the best - a time at which something is most powerful or successful. Maybe its just me, but I love learning new things and found the definition very interesting... As I had never heard of it before.
