Hey beauty babes thank you SO much for joining me today! I am back with a new "Get The Look" video tutorial that is quite a bit different for me. If you know me, you know how much I LOVE warm tones - so this cool toned Gun Metal smokey eye is definitely a step out of my comfort zone...

Ok, so as I mentioned I got this "Simply Golden" palette for review from Luminess Air. Now before I let you know my thoughts, I have some interesting news about this particular palette - Luminess Air has actually given it a bit of an upgrade and now all of the shades from the Simply Golden Palette can be
found in their new Nude & Naughty Palette, which is a much larger 36 pan palette. And its on the website currently, for just $9.99, which is a great deal in my opinion!!
The shadows in this Simply Golden palette that I have, are quite lovely, they're pigmented, they blend well, they're not patchy, the mattes are great and the shimmers are buttery and beautiful! ♥
Something I found interesting is that while this was called simply golden palette - with a nice aray or warm golden tones, it also included several cooler silver tones too. As you can tell from this look and tutorial. So I'm pretty pleased with the versatility offered from what appeared, at first glance, to be a very simple palette! Truth be told, it really surprised me how much I ended up liking this palette.
So I am confident that the new Naughty & Nude Palette would be a recommend from me, being that is has all of these 12 shadows plus 24 more - adding to the versatility of it. Factor in the small $10 price tag and you really cant go wrong!
One thing I would like to make note of is that the first ingredient in these shadows is talc. That is not a huge deal to me, but I know for some that is a red flag ingredient. So I just wanted to make that known since you cannot find the ingredients on the website - only on the back of the palette.
Lastly, here are some swatches so you can see ALL of the shades from the Simply Golden Palette. I truly love the mix of warm and cooler tones here, plus just enough mattes mixed in with the shimmers. So you dont have to reach for other palettes!
For anyone curious, these swatches were done over a primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion) and these are brush swatches - not my finger swatches! The brush I used was a flat brush (the same one I used with the shimmer shade in the video tutorial). Usually brush swatches "make or break" opinions, because almost any shadow will swatch well with fingers. But its how they look with a brush that counts. And these look, apply and wear beautiful!!
Don't forget to watch the tutorial!
