Gun Metal Smokey Eye Tutorial

Hey beauty babes thank you SO much for joining me today! I am back with a new "Get The Look" video tutorial that is quite a bit different for me. If you know me, you know how much I LOVE warm tones - so this cool toned Gun Metal smokey eye is definitely a step out of my comfort zone...

But I love how it turned out and I hope you do too! ♥  Anyways, before we get started I just wanted to take a moment to thank Luminess Air for Sponsoring this post and video! I did receive the palette I am using got this tutorial from Luminess Air, and will have a brief review of it here and at the end of my video tutorial as well! All the details on this look will be listed out in this post, as usual, but I do encourage you to check out the video tutorial so you can see how to achieve this look. PLUS see these eyeshadows in action for yourself! ;)

Ok, so as I mentioned I got this "Simply Golden" palette for review from Luminess Air. Now before I let you know my thoughts, I have some interesting news about this particular palette - Luminess Air has actually given it a bit of an upgrade and now all of the shades from the Simply Golden Palette can be
found in their new Nude & Naughty Palette, which is a much larger 36 pan palette. And its on the website currently, for just $9.99, which is a great deal in my opinion!!

The shadows in this Simply Golden palette that I have, are quite lovely, they're pigmented, they blend well, they're not patchy, the mattes are great and the shimmers are buttery and beautiful! ♥

Something I found interesting is that while this was called simply golden palette - with a nice aray or warm golden tones, it also included several cooler silver tones too. As you can tell from this look and tutorial. So I'm pretty pleased with the versatility offered from what appeared, at first glance, to be a very simple palette! Truth be told, it really surprised me how much I ended up liking this palette

So I am confident that the new Naughty & Nude Palette would be recommend from me, being that is has all of these 12 shadows plus 24 more - adding to the versatility of it. Factor in the small $10 price tag and you really cant go wrong!

One thing I would like to make note of is that the first ingredient in these shadows is talc. That is not a huge deal to me, but I know for some that is a red flag ingredient. So I just wanted to make that known since you cannot find the ingredients on the website - only on the back of the palette.

Lastly, here are some swatches so you can see ALL of the shades from the Simply Golden Palette. I truly love the mix of warm and cooler tones here, plus just enough mattes mixed in with the shimmers. So you dont have to reach for other palettes!

For anyone curious, these swatches were done over a primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion) and these are brush swatches - not my finger swatches! The brush I used was a flat brush (the same one I used with the shimmer shade in the video tutorial). Usually brush swatches "make or break" opinions, because almost any shadow will swatch well with fingers. But its how they look with a brush that counts. And these look, apply and wear beautiful!!

Don't forget to watch the tutorial!

Romantic Pink Glitter Glam Makeup Look | Valentines Makeup

Hey beauty babes, welcome and  thank you SO much for joining me today!! Well, today I am back with a new "get the look" tutorial featuring lots of pink and of course some sparkle because you know I'm all about that glam life! haha Now I originally posted this look on my youtube channel a few days befoere the New year to inspire those NYE looks. But since we are now into the New year already - this look would be perfect for you know any Wednesday cause duh - mean girls. haha OR MAYBE Valentines day if you are thinking that far ahead! Yup, I went there already - we are not even a full week into January and I am already bringing up the "V" word.

Now, a lot of the time I like to make the glitter the real star of the show in my looks! But for this look, there are quite a few "key players". For my eyes I AM using several shadows from my collaboration collection "Vintage Romance" with MBA Cosmetics! *Remember they ship world wide and you can use code AGAPELOVE15 for 15% off* You know, I couldn't stay away from those shadows for long! And I cant help but show you how versatile these shadows are!! ♥ Also of course the glitter is from MBA Cosmetics too.

But aside from that - I am also using a brand new Contour Palette that I received c/o Beauty Junkees! And I used it with the Beauty Junkees Highlight & Contour Brush set - which I absolutely love and very highly recommend! If you have time to watch the video tutorial at the end of this post, you can learn more about these products and see the demo of them in action. Beauty Junkees is a wonderful brand, and so affordable.

Lastly there is another product I would like to spotlight and that would be that gorgeous pink glow I am rockin' on my cheeks. You can catch a glimpse of it real well in the photo below! Now that is a highlight in the shade "Perfect Storm" from an indie brand Touch of Glam Beauty! I received a few products from the owner to try out and I will have a separate review coming soon, but so far I am pretty impressed with the products I have tried! And I think you all will enjoy them too. I was also given a special discount code (not an affiliate code) that saves you 15% off a purchase of $25 or more. That code is AGAPEGLAM15 ♥

Caked Makeup Lip Fondant Lip Swatch! All shades!

Hey beauty babes, Happy NEW Year!! Today I am excited to share a swatch video that I filmed with my beautiful daughter, Kiah, of all the "lip fondants" from Caked Makeup!! Have you heard of this adorable brand? Ive mostly only heard of them via instagram - but have heard really amazing things! So I was so happy when I was sent all of their lippies to try! ALSO Caked Makeup is cruelty free and vegan!! yay!
Anyways, I thought it would be super fun to film with my daughter - because she LOVES lipstick and well she is just fun to be around! Plus I thought it would be helpful so you can see how each of these pretty lippies look on different skin tones as my daughter is very fair and has a pink skin tone and I am darker with a yellow skin tone!
We had a BLAST filming together - and even as I was editing the video I couldnt help but smile and laugh all over again! So we both hope you too enjoy our video together and the swatches! Be sure to let me know which shades are your favorite and if you have any other video requests for me or me and Kiah (while she is on winter break) be sure to let me know! ♥
