Hey beauty babes welcome and thank you so much for joining me! I've got a fun review and video demo to share with you today, but I first wanted to give a Big thanks to Luminess Air for Sponsoring this post! I hope you all enjoy this review and demo of Luminess Air's new Color FX Spray on Hair & Body Color! I will be showing you the various ways I have been using Color FX for myself in the photos here as well as the video at the end of this post. I really encourage you to watch it to see the demo on how I "transformed" myself into a Tiger. (haha)
Of course these products are not going to be a necessity for everyone. But for those who do face paintings for parties or SFX Makeup - this would be incredible! Even if you are just starting out and/or are curious to get into something of this nature - I'd recommend these products and the Luminess Air system. Its incredible easy to use and work with. As with anything - "practice makes perfect" but you may be surprised how quick you will catch on. If you are even the slightest bit creative you will LOVE the Color FX line!
Even though I am not a face & body painter nor a special FX artist, I have really been enjoying the Color FX Line! From adding fun color and designs to my kids' hair to transforming myself into a Tiger - these have been a blast to try out. BTW this was my very first time attempting a "look" like this - so don't judge too harshly, but feel free to laugh and enjoy! ;)
Here is a peek at some of the ways I have put Color FX to use! My kids especially have LOVED to have me add color and fun designs to their hair. I simply used some flexible stencils I found at Walmart. Although, even if you don't have stencils, the airbrush system actually creates pretty precise lines so you can free-hand designs and looks without stencils. You will get an idea of the precision if you watch the video demo. ;)
I received the "Classic Collection" Starter kit which includes the Primary Colors Red, Yellow and Blue, as well as a green, white and black! The colors are available as a set or sold individually. And they also carry metallic colors and a metallic collection starter kit as well. I imagine those would be even more fun to work with!
Color FX are very vibrant and show up opaque on their own. There is need to mix them with white first so they show up or anything. Although whats really great is that you can mix the colors together, as you will see me doing in the demo, that way you can custom make any color you need for any look you want to create!
Color FX is hypoallergenic, silicon, talc, fragrance, paraben and oil free, non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types.
Whats also nice is that the color fx dries pretty quickly and they feel pretty comfortable on the skin. They are made with a Water-based formula that is long lasting as well as humidity, sweat and water-resistant.
And even though they are long lasting, they are still really easy to remove. You dont have scrub your skin to get it off. Soap and water is all it takes to easily remove it from your skin and evern your hair.
For those of you curious to see these products in action, I encourage you to watch the video for the full demo! If you have any question - please dont hesitate to ask!
