Red Glitter Smokey Eye Tutorial - Valentines Day Inspiration
Hey beauty babes, I really hope you love this new look and tutorial as much as I do! I have been wanting to create a look with this red Chromalights glitter from MBA Cosmetics for SO long. I am glad I finally did - and just in time to give you all some Valentines Day inspo. Just so you all know - my husband (who HATES glitter) actually LOVED this look and requested me to wear it more. Ive worn this look twice and he still cant get enough! ♥ I know red shadows can be super intimidating to wear, but it can also be so stunning too! especially if you have green eyes! Give it a try and see what you think! You may just need to figure out which kind of red suits your skin tone best. There are warm tone and cool tone reds. And you can also play with warm or cool toned transition shades to help too. Anyways... There is a full video tutorial at the end of this post. Hope you enjoy!

Hey beauty babes, have you seen the latest from Milani Cosmetics!? They have come out with TWO brand new eyeshadow palettes and they are STUNNING! So, I first saw the "Bold Obsessions" Palette on the Trendmood instagram page and immediately decided I wanted to get it. Not only did it look so high end and intriguing to me, I also wanted to get it because I want to get more into drugstore products this year. The drugstore beauty brands have been stepping up their game, but girl, this ones a HUGE step! Anyways... So I ordered right away, and of course the VERY NEXT DAY, Milani dropped the second palette. An all Matte palette called "Most Loved Mattes". *sigh* So I don't have both to show you - though I am super tempted to get the 2nd one, let me know if you want a review ;) I need a good excuse to buy. haha Still, I am SO excited to bring you my first impressions review and tutorial on the brand NEW Milani Cosmetics Bold Obsessions palette! In this video I'll will give you a closer look at the palette - let you know more about it, I'll let you know my impressions of it and my thoughts on the price, I've also got swatches of all the shades and even a quick tutorial/demo of my makeup look so you can see these shadows in action!

Here are the photo swatches, and while they are not bad (in my opinion) I actually think these shadows look and perform MUCH better on the eyes with brushes than how they look in these swatches! How usual is that? Most palettes look better in swatches, but I definitely think these look better in use. You will be able to get an idea for yourself in the video at the end of this post. ♥

I will share my first impressions review on the palette, a tutorial for this eye look I am wearing using the palette and I will also do live brush swatches too! I really hope you enjoy and find this helpful in decided whether or not to buy.
I created this look using every shade in the daydream palette! I wanted to be able to try them all! Even still, its a bit of a simpler look, so I did go ahead and add some glitter! Don't worry, I do give you a close look at my eyes with JUST the shadows alone so you can really see how they look and perform.
BRUSH SWATCHES
If you watch the video, you will see these brush swatches LIVE as I swatch them all on camera. I used the duo ended brush that comes with the palette and I swatched each shadow with both sides of the brush. Surprisingly the more opaque swatches came from the fluffy side of the brush and the light swatches came from the more dense eyeshadow brush.
