FACE OFF Makeup Challenge with Danielle Schmidt | ABH Modern Renaissance palette

Today I am excited to be collaborating with Danielle Schmidt for her "Face Off" makeup challenge series! The idea behind this challenge is simple - we choose an eyeshadow palette we both have in common (the Modern Renaissance Palette in our case), and we each use the SAME 5 eyeshadow shades to create a look! We can not use any other shades in the palette. I am super excited to see how Danielle uses the shades we picked and to see how her look turned out! Why I Dont Do Favorites and Why Im Quitting Reviews

Hey babes, just a quick little chatty video today! I wanted to talk a little bit about why I don't really do (Monthly) "favorites" videos on my channel. And I also wanted to talk a little bit more about why I am going to quit doing reviews as well. I could probably go on and on with both of these subjects - and tell you all more... Because there is more, and there are some changes I will be making to my channel. However, I wanted to keep this short, sweet and to the point!

Additionally, I have already tried TWICE to film a video about the changes I plan to make, and my "why" and just an overall of how I have been feeling lately... However each time I end up crying, rambling, not making sense and forgetting things I really wanted to say. SO, instead you get this quick little video. If you want to chat more about this subject and the changes I plan to make - feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments. ♥

P.S. I did want to touch on another note that I forgot I had wanted to mention... And that is that there is also this weird sense of if I call something a Favorite and then you DON'T see me use it again, that comes across as really hypocritical. So I'd rather just avoid the judgement and speculations that come with that. Adding on to that, there just are some circumstances where yes a product may be my favorite, (say a favorite foundation) but you don't see me use it, because I am always trying to test out new foundations. So it can just be hard to feel like you have to explain and justify it all. And again, I would just rather avoid that.

AND one more note... Yes I have done a couple videos sharing certain favorites (foundations, concealers, specific brands), but I am more so speaking on "monthly Favorites". Thank you so much for watching! I would love to hear YOUR thoughts on this subject. ♥

Makeup Swap Unboxing and Try On!

Hey babes! Today I am so excited to share this Makeup Swap unboxing and try on video with you!! This was so much fun! So I joined a group of girls here on youtube... Each of us sent a box of goodies to someone else in the group, in sort of a loop. We agreed to send enough products to create as close to a complete look as possible... Then we un-box and try on, on camera! I hope you enjoy this video, as much as I enjoyed filming it.

Here is how my complete look turned out! If you want to see which products I used to create this look (and hear my thoughts on them) then be sure to watch the video!

If you are curious to see what I sent out AND what the other girls got be sure to click the play list HERE to watch everyone's videos!
