Hey babes, just a quick little chatty video today! I wanted to talk a little bit about why I don't really do (Monthly) "favorites" videos on my channel. And I also wanted to talk a little bit more about why I am going to quit doing reviews as well. I could probably go on and on with both of these subjects - and tell you all more... Because there is more, and there are some changes I will be making to my channel. However, I wanted to keep this short, sweet and to the point!
Additionally, I have already tried TWICE to film a video about the changes I plan to make, and my "why" and just an overall of how I have been feeling lately... However each time I end up crying, rambling, not making sense and forgetting things I really wanted to say. SO, instead you get this quick little video. P.S. I did want to touch on another note that I forgot I had wanted to mention... And that is that there is also this weird sense of if I call something a Favorite and then you DON'T see me use it again, that comes across as really hypocritical. So I'd rather just avoid the judgement and speculations that come with that. Adding on to that, there just are some circumstances where yes a product may be my favorite, (say a favorite foundation) but you don't see me use it, because I am always trying to test out new foundations. So it can just be hard to feel like you have to explain and justify it all. And again, I would just rather avoid that.
AND one more note... Yes I have done a couple videos sharing certain favorites (foundations, concealers, specific brands), but I am more so speaking on "monthly Favorites". Thank you so much for watching! I would love to hear YOUR thoughts on this subject. ♥
